Ten friends gathered for a large party in Twilight Sparkle's new castle. However, the fun is soon ruined as it is revealed that one of them is a crazy killer. Trapped in the Castle's magical force field and without guards for protection, then ten must try to outwit and survive the killer before every last one of them dies.

Roosterteeth's Ten Little Roosters was based on "Ten Little Indians" by Agatha Christie (Thanks to Hidden Scorpious XI for pointing that out) however, I was most inspired to write this by the aforementioned video due to the fact that I was not exposed to the novel.
The story is different though so as to limit similarities. The poem is however the same in some places due to format and lack of a better rhyme. Also at points the story will share similarities but I will keep them at a minimum.
NOTE: The gore tag is a precaution. The deaths will only be described in short detail and not a gratuitous explanation. I just don't want anyone freaking out. However, it is applicable once again for the video.
P.S.: For those who think they have solved the mystery. I have planned out the entire story and the order already. So if you end up not guessing correctly, I wasn't cheating. Also, I am writing using my own form of "Limited Omniscience" meaning, I write what characters would infer of one another. Hopefully that will clear up any confusion with any of the upcoming reveals.
Did you know that that Ten Little Roosters is actually a parody of Ten Little Indians, by the reknowed mistery writer Agatha Christie? So if you are basing your story on a parody of a highly respected piece of mistery literature, perhaps you should re-evaluate your source material.

Now I will make random assumptions on who the murderer is. I'm usually pretty good at guessing plots, so...
Right now my moneys on Twilight.(I have no money though):
1: She knew about Spikes allergy
2: We know she's crazy
3: She's the host of the party
4: It seems oddly coincidental she installed the button not so long before the party and they block outimmortality. it kind of seems like a flaw if you consider that with her princesshood(no, not that one. That's dirty) came immortality that could save her.
5: the poem. Twilight is the most likely to write such a poem. This is not as much a very strong point, as I don't think it's too farfetched to think that rarity, Luna, Celestia, Cadence and even Fluttershy could have secret poetic skills
If not then I can at least make a few educated guesses whose not:

Well it seems my mistrust was misdirected. Still, when I saw the "wrong door" line I knew it would be a party cannon.

Also, it's becoming increasingly clear that evidence points to Pinkie. I'm not sure if that's the writer misleading us or it's really Pinkie. Everyone DID like cupcakes. The only other reason I'm not sure if it's Pinkie is that pinkie being crazy is so overdone, I'm not sure if the author would do this...
