Not much to say except that I love video games, my favorite series being Star Fox and Mass Effect; reading, sports, etc. I have a separate FanFiction account where more of my stories can be found.

It was a day that changed Equestria forever. The day the terrible Lord Tirek descended upon Maretropolis from the depths of Tartarus, destroying everything in his path. If not for the Power Ponies and their bravery, Maretropolis, and possibly Equestria itself, would no longer exist.
A year has passed since that terrible day and while peace has returned, ponies have become divided over the world they see now. The Power Ponies are seen as a beacon of hope, but are they more a threat to civilization than they are a service? One pony believes that justice should be in the hands of the common ponies, as she takes justice into her own hooves. Another has more sinister thoughts in mind, seeing the Power Ponies as an obstacle in his way and will go to diabolical lengths to get rid of them for good. This is their story…

If the Power Ponies were voiced, what would they sound like? I mean, I'm going to assume that they don't sound like the Mane Six...

But they would. :rainbowhuh: Although they'd probably sound more...Mature I guess?

This awfuly reminds me of one scene from Batman v Superman. :trixieshiftleft:

I will wait until next chapter to decide if I will track this story or not. The writing is good though.

So.... Sunset is Batmare now?

Hey, Hasbro decided to call it Maretropolis not me. :rainbowwild:

Nope she's Phoenix.

Pretty good, but I can see some potential problems.

Mainly, why is Tirec the thing that sets off the public questioning the Power Ponies? It's not like in Man of Steel, where the aliens were specifically looking for Superman. It feels like the comic version of Civil War, where the anti-superhuman movement was sparked by collateral damage that had nothing to do with the heroes. And while one could argue that the public is dumb enough to ignore that, wouldn't it be better to create a situation that the heroes are partly responsible for? After all, you intend to deal with a pretty important question. It will weaken your story if you don't give both sides an equal footing.

We didn't get enough time to see the real devastation that Tirec left. The narration stays locked to Sunset, which is good, but it never widens its gaze and looks over the city properly.

Something is going to set it off in the future. You just have to wait and see.

Why? They're not the same ponies.

Well maybe you're right. Sunset would sound the same of course.
