Twilight Sparkle has been trying to understand what it really means to be a Princess of Magic.
Discontent with the ambiguity of her destiny, she receives an uninvited visit from her elder alicorn peers: Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Princess Cadance.
It seems they have sensed their youngest sister's frustration and uncertainty, hoping to help her finally figure out what's really upsetting her.

Rumble's constantly told he's a cute colt, from most mares and even a few other colts. But, for the most part it's been that. Maybe it's been a passing comment, or maybe someone tried to pay him a compliment. And, for the most part, Rumble hasn't minded.

However, when his brother Thunderlane calls Flitter and Cloudchaser over one night to foalsit, Rumble begins to suspect something may be wrong, especially when the two adult pegasi mares begin going beyond just calling him cute. When mares across Ponyville start fawning over the colt, Rumble decides he simply needs the help of a unicorn to stop a strange form of innate pony magic not usually found in pegasi.

Flitter x Thunderlane / Rumble x Cloudchaser will be involved; no sex.

Flitter loves her twin sister, Cloudchaser, more than anything in the world. The two were inseparable for as long as they could remember, helping each other through times of trouble and cherishing their joyous moments together—one half that completes the other.

But Flitter had never imagined losing Cloudchaser forever. Without her sister, she feels that everything had suddenly become darker, more hollow, as though something inside her had died as well. Though it is difficult, she must find the strength and will to somehow push past the grief and emptiness and carry on in a life without her other half...

Twilight had planned to visit Sunset Shimmer and her friends over in the other world for a nice, quiet weekend, away from all the worries and problems associated with being a Princess of Equestria. Unfortunately, things rarely go as planned.

After an accident cuts her off from Equestria, Twilight finds herself stuck in the human world until the gateway between the two worlds can be fixed. Which wouldn't normally be a problem...

...If she wasn't still a pony.

The portal between Equestria and Sunset Shimmer’s world has closed unexpectedly. Despite Twilight and Sunset’s best efforts, the girls have been unable to come up with a solution. Running low on pages to talk across the dimensional rift, Twilight reads what might be Sunset’s final message to her. However much to Twilight’s surprise, there’s also another message to a different pony.

It's been a few weeks since Starlight Glimmer nearly destroyed all of time and space, and she hasn't gone outside since. At least, not until she receives an invitation from Princess Celestia to meet for tea. This can't be good.

But aid comes in the form of a new teacher, one who can help Sunset learn about magic. Learn what it means to be a leader. For she is not a Man of Steel, nor a Dark Knight.
