As her twenty-first birthday dawns, Twilight Sparkle finds her simple life turned upside down. While her birthright forces itself into her life, Twilight also has to deal with the arrival of three Alicorns. No pony knows where they came from or what they want, and the Alicorns seem intent on keeping themselves and their purposes hidden. To uncover the truth, Twilight will set sail for distant, ancient lands with old and new friends.

Some authors wish to live in the worlds they create or just want to be able to visit it, to escape from reality at least for a little bit. Lauren Faust considered the thought from time to time, but never really wanted it.

Yet here she is, inside Fluttershy's cottage and she can't understand a word the mare or anypony else is speaking. When trying to calm herself down with her hobby, namely drawing ponies and other cartoon characters, the ponies become alive the next day!

Will she be able to find a way home, despite language barrier? Just how long can she keep her rather unique ability hidden? Spoilers, not very long

It's been a few days since Princess Luna's return to Canterlot and all the ponies have started to warm up to her.

However she can't help being angry at herself for never taking the chance to make amends with her mother in the past.

With some help for her sister, will she finally be able to say those four words she had always wanted to say for a long time?

Celestia, Luna and Discord. Three ancient beings in equestrian history. However why is Celestia and Luna princesses and not Queens? Also why did Discord conquer Equestria?

The answer to these questions have the same answer. One Mare, one Alicorn, their Mother Lauren Faust.

Have you ever heard of a mare named Faust? She's an Alicorn, just like the Princesses, but not a princess herself. Some say she's a queen, some say she's their mother. The truth, well... she's really overworked. And with her duty as The Equestrian Archivist she has a pretty demanding job. But what happens when this overworked alicorn decides that she wants to take a vacation in Ponyville? Furthermore, what'll happen when she skips out on her job to take that vacation?

(My first story! A different take on Fausticorn, I've seen her given a general persona that just doesn't seem like what I saw in the original art. So here's my idea of what she might be like. Tags will be added as the story continues.)

My version of Lauren Faust ending up in Equestria. I probably got her character all wrong. Hey, I never met her, cut me some slack.

So, Lauren Faust is Queen of Equestria in this story. How will she react? How will everypony else react? And what does Pinkie's chimicherrychangas have to do with all of this? One thing is clear already. For Twilight and her friends it won't be the same.

Added AU tag, 'cause someone mentioned it would be safe. And when I think about it, I don't think we ever get to learn who the princesses parents are.

Just a note, this is set during season two. So the events of "A Canterlot Wedding" haven't happened yet.

Queen Faust, Creator of the planet Anima and every creature that walks under the blue sky, Immortal and Everlasting. She is bored.

She is bored watching her creations meander around the peaceful skies of Equestria. Oh, sure, there was the occasional creature and monster that her daughters and their student and her five friends would have to deal with. Usually the student and her five friends saving her daughters. But this wasn't enough to keep Faust not bored.

So, for some entertainment, she decides to bring in some otherworldly help...
