In another time, in another world, a dragon's egg is a rare treasure, one that can shape the fate of nations. In a desperate bid for possession of one, two opposing powers send it tumbling through worlds, where it inadvertently lands in the possession of a young filly named Twilight Sparkle. Now, rather than being raised at the center of a war, a dragon named Saphira gets the chance to grow up as the youngest member of the Sparkle family, with all the privileges that come from being directly under Princess Celestia's tutelage... and all the challenges, as well.

What kind of place will a dragon from another world make for herself in Equestria? Only time will tell.

NOTE! This story is having a reboot, I have lost inspiration for the world I was building in it and am having difficulty finding it, but I have found inspiration for a story that has a different world and plot from the same sources. sorry for being unable to continue this story.

I was at work one day, cleaning up to go home when I found this plushy of the dragon Saphira from the Inheritance Cycle on one to tables. Figuring it was child's and groaning as I knew that meant paperwork before leaving the toy in lost and found and going home. I had to just pick it up.

Now I'm a dragon, I'm in the Magical land of Equestria, and dealing with walking on four legs and being turned female. Surprisingly being female is easier than walking on four legs.

The 7th pass of the Red Star over Pern heralded the beginning of the dragon's ancient duty to the people of Pern. Rider and dragon both, risked life and limb to meet their ancient foe in aerial battle, the mindless, silvery Thread which threatened to consume all life on their planet. Every fighting dragon is needed to sear the Thread in the sky before it can reach the ground, but mid-battle, an injured Bronze, a precious, newly mated golden Queen, and their riders, do not return to their Weyr from Between, and are instead transported to another world entirely. How will they cope, especially once the Queen lays her eggs. Only time will tell.

Based on the brilliant Chronicles of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey, a brilliant author of a brilliant series. I recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy, sci-fi or dragons :)

None of Anne McCaffrey's books take place during the 7th Pass, so the human and dragon characters are all my own creation.

For the purposes of this story, I'll stick to the show Canon up to the movies, I won't be using major story points from season 8 when it's out.

A great evil has awoken in Equestria and not even the Elements of Harmony are a match for what is to come. Eragon will learn secrets that has long been forgotten and some new friends will be made along the way.

Grammar Nazi: Mythic Spell

(Spyro seriesXmlp) Spike's always been curious about his race, but then again what dragon wouldn't be when all they've ever known is ponies? So when a spell book arrives that may offer some answers to his questions, with a little help from Twilight of course, the young dragon is overjoyed to say the absolute least.

Though when things somehow end up going astronomically sideways, Ponyville finds itself playing host to three unexpected visitors; three scaly visitors by the names of Spyro, Cynder, and Ember to be exact, each bringing their own personal touch of chaos to the small town.

Soon awkward and unusual situations arise, tempers flare with destructive consequences, personal demons and ancient evils threaten to rear their long suppressed heads, and Spike learns that sometimes, if you wait long enough, love will find you.

The young Human/Elf hybrid Dragon Rider named Eragon, with his dragon, Saphira travel on the Talia ship that goes West of Alagaesia, to a new place called "Equestria." It had been one month since Eragon killed the evil king of Alagaesia: Galbatorix, and his humongous black dragon, Shruikan. Eragon however feels saddened, because he had to leave everyone he loved behind. His cousin: Roran, Arya with her new green dragon named Firnen, Horst and the people of Carvahall(even though it has been destroyed by the Empire) Nar Garzhvog(The Kull chieftain that Eragon made friends with) Murtagh: his half brother with his red dragon: Thorn, Nasuada, Orik, Katrina, and others. He discovers that there can be friends from any part of the world. Of course, He has Saphira, Blodhgarm and his twelve elves, many eldunaris from many dragons, Including Glaedr, Oromis's dragon, and a teacher to Eragon and his dragon. Umaroth, and many other eldunaris. WARNING: If you had not read Inheritance, it will contain spoilers. Rights for the characters from the Inheritance cycle, goes to Christopher Paolini.
