I've had my fair share of critics in my line of work. It's understandable—someone with the power to invoke fear in those he touches? Yeah, that's someone I want to watch over me and my children.

But that's what I am now; a Metahuman Agent, using this and the other 'perks' of my unique condition to help my team in taking down the baddie of the day. Of course, it was while taking down the baddie of the day that I fell victim to his malfunctioning machine; a Rift that tossed me, randomly, to a head-scratchingly insane world of magical, talking ponies...

All I can do now is wait, pray I can get home, and try to show them I'm not the monster I appear to be.

(Dread's homeworld is based somewhat on the Little Victory comics by jollyjack; an Earth where metahumans are enlisted and trained by the government to defend the populace from threats, big and small.)

The spell to change Fluttershy back to normal worked! But she reverses back to Flutterbat during a full moon. How? Why? Not even Twilight really knows why.

What's more Sombra seems interested in her and the others catch them having a...strange and interesting conversation...by hissing. And no pony knows what the heck they're saying.

In the alternate timeline where Sombra was not stopped, a human finds himself suddenly in Sombra's body... just after the dread tyrant has conquered Equestria. Now trapped in a world where just about everyone hates him, he must try to keep up the illusion that he is the villainous conqueror, while at the same time try to win over his new subjects.

However, this will not be so simple, as the real Sombra is not quite dead... and he is most definitely not happy.

King Sombra believes that if he, Luna, and Discord can change their ways so can Lord Tirek. King Sombra sets Tirek free and made him the Colonel of the Seleneville Guard. King Sombra has also gifted Tirek powers to test him. Tirek later meets a beautiful Centauress and the two bond over time. Little does everyone know that there is an evil greater than Tirek, the evil Discord, Queen Chrysalis, the evil King Sombra, or any other villain or former villain put together waiting to be set free. Tirek, even though he won't admit it, slowly comes around and earns almost everyone's trust as he and the others have many adventures, meet new bad guys, good guys, and others that were mentioned in the prequel, The Redemption of King Sombra, along the way.

Sombra has returned from the dead and after losing everything is forced to start a new. He takes up on an offer Celestia offers him to go to ponyvill, what Sombra doesn't know however is there he'll become the next in line for reformation, his reformer Twilight Sparkle.

Winter Aurora is a Lich. She didn't intend on becoming one, but now she can't help it. All she wants in her life is to be accepted by other ponies.

King Sombra finds himself in a dreaded ice cave for a short ammount of time. He manages to get out and tries to retake the Empire. After failing and being imprisoned in his horn for three years, King Sombra is forced to be reformed. Not only that, but fight other villians.

Sidenote: It moves a little fast and I don't have any sort of outline for this, so I'm pretty much just writing as I go and calling it good. Solid stars mean that the chapter is fully edited and star ouline means that the chapter is being edited.

Prince Sombra has just inherited the crystal empire from his late Father. The young Prince is grief stricken but tries to find happiness in his dark times. Having the Grand Galloping Gala going on in Canterlot seems like the best place to go for a good time. Upon arriving he surprise to see the reason why his family never went to these sort of things. Many believe that this is the last Gala that King Dawnbreaker will be alive for. His two daughters Celestia and Luna are suspected to be have begun training in the art of raising the day and night. With the entertainment of the evening being a barbaric circus run by slaves, Sombra tries to save the performers afterwards from their life of misery. He fails to safe them all but he does manage to save one. A young changeling. Taking her away and inserting her into his daily life, she soon becomes a close friend to him. Eventually Sombra starts to feel that there is something more between them. What fallows is a tale of passion which leads to many changes in the life of the young prince. Sombra spirals down the path of blind love not caring what may happen.
"Love can sometimes blind us to reason. Which leads to insanity."

Given the successful befriending of Discord, Princess Celestia deems that no longer will villains be defeated but instead reformed. While most have the chance to submit willingly or continue to fight, King Sombra is given little option. Brought back from the dead and stripped of all his powers and strength, it's all become a game of futility. Now Sombra only wishes he could have stayed dead all along.

King Sombra has revived himself and seeks redemption. Along the way he makes friends, started giving and caring, and finds a mysterious Dragon Egg he somehow left in the Crystal Empire before his defeat. He does not remember why he put it there, but he takes care of it. King Sombra, the Mane Six and the others have many adventures, meet new good guys and bad guys, make new friends and some may even find some love. But what is that Dragon Egg?
