You live a rather calm and unassuming life while wishing for something or someone to come around and change it. That was when a strange girl appeared at your door with an even stranger story.

Can you help her find her way home? Do you even want her to leave?

Twilight has always felt just a little uneasy about how others treat her, but after a tragedy befalls the Sparkle household, she reveals her greatest truth at the funeral.

Can her friends, family, and teacher comfort her this time?

No. 

...but when emotions are high and mistrust and confusion are rampant, is everything what it first appears?

For centuries, ponykind thought Princess Platinum's splendorous silver crown lost for all time, but it has been found. Twilight Sparkle, the self-proclaimed Princess of Thieves, has tracked it down to the long-fallen Diamond Dog kingdom of Erebark, and means to enter the mountain to retrieve her kin's lost heirloom and settle scores with Princess Celestia.

Unfortunately, there are one or two details she didn't realize going into this mess. Namely, that she'll need to steal from the gilded gallery of one of the mightiest dragons ever to walk the land.

Official visits to Trottingham tended to be anything but exciting for Princess Rarity. She'd spend the entire week stuck in her room, trying to somehow keep herself entertained while running away from the unwanted advances of the local nobles.

She was to be used for the purification of Nightmare Moon in order to return Princess Luna to Celestia's side. However on the day, it was all supposed to take place, Celestia was unable to ask for such a sacrifice from Princess Twilight. This fact only hardened Twilight's resolve to reply Celestia for every kindness she had done for her in her short mortal life.

  After Sunset Shimmer brings Sci-Twi’s strange magic-absorbing amulet back to Equestria, Princess Twilight Sparkle has a brilliant idea. If they combine the amulet and the magic of the portal, the two of them could hop between worlds at the push of a button!

But even in the midst of her growing despair that she has betrayed everything she stood for, she learns something about friendship and what it means to be an alicorn.

Celestia and Luna have lived long and suffered greatly. Luna, still insecure in her newfound grace, is anxious to secure herself against any further suffering. She sees in Twilight Sparkle (and in many others) the roots of ten thousand tragedies. Celestia proposes a wager.

Celestia finds a very young Twilight outside her room. Not knowing who brought her here, the Princess cares for her until a new family can be found. However, the Princess is oblivious to twilight's past, and the truth may have scarred Twilight for life...
