Sequel: "Trying To Be Cool"

Spike is left to his daily tasks as Twilight Sparkle is in Canterlot on official business. This includes a visit from Rainbow Dash, who is looking for more books to read. Spike gives her some suggestions and Dash admits he knows what he's talking about. This sparks something in Rainbow's head. She slowly begins to see the small purple dragon in a new light after a number of recent events. What exactly is going on with her?

After a month of being in the dragon kingdom of Draconia, Spike has decided to go back to Ponyville. He has changed a lot since he left the first time, and that is easily noticeable. That, however, will not stop him from living his life again. But of course, there will be some changes.

A sequel of another story of mine, 'True Origins'. Sorry about the description, I couldn't think of something better. This story takes place after the end of Season 2 but before Season 3.

Matthew Williams, a citizen of New York City, leads a pretty good life, an alright job, a nice place. Sure, he has dreams and aspirations like the normal humans of the earth, but he was rather content at the moment. However, she gets challenged by Spike one day when he tells his friends that he would never be able to fall in love with her. Given Rainbow's competitive nature, a new challenge between the two of them begins.

She tries to steal Spike's heart and if he falls in love, he loses!

Between awkward dates, friendly interference, a jealous Rarity, an over-protective Twilight and a betting pool stretching all across Equestria, who knows what ending awaits them!

Love is a tricky subject. It isn't something that just affects one pony, or two, but everypony around them, It is something that affects everypony differently, too.

Spike and Rainbow are going to have to learn this the hard way.
