Discord's day begins by watching anime. As he does, he reflects on all the ponies he feels closest to and realizes something important.

{Displaced Story}

His name was Eli Minute, a normal teenager who dressed as a Dalek for a group costume contest at Comic-Con with his friends. He just wanted the contest to finish up so he could get out of the stuffy Dalek costume. But when his friend Matt brought over the rewards, he also brought over a Dalek laser that he bough from a man known only as "The Merchant".

Jeremy, one of his other friends, goes ahead and attaches the laser to Eli's costume, and in a flash of light Eli is taken to Equestria with a splitting headache and no sensation in his feet...or his hands...or anything for that matter.

What will befall him as he's trapped in the mechanical body of the most dangerous being in the universe?

Lyra Heartstrings, transformation specialist and social worker for those who believe they were not born ponies. These are her therapy sessions, both in group and in private.

With a little gentle guidance, these lost souls can rediscover the joys of being a pony, and let go of their foolish ideas. What sorts of trauma would drive anypony to throw away their identity?

Jacob doesn't consider himself a special individual. Average, maybe. Intellectual? far from such. He has show interest in history in the past, though. So when he winds up in Equestria through an ancient ruin that still contained a fifty thousand year old magical charge, he becomes very interested in history. He decides to look more into Equestria's past, the time before the ponies arrived there.

Luckily, he won't be doing it alone. The Princess of the Night has shown a recent interest in history as well, and together the two explore ancient relics from Equestria's past.

When they find something during the exploration of an ancient buried chamber though, everything changes for both of them.

I was living a comfortable life. Had a loving wife and son, money was absolutely no issue, everything was swell.

Next thing I know, I'm hearing voices, I can't move, I can't talk, I can't even breathe. Yet, I know I'm alive, though I don't entirely feel like myself anymore.

Then I end up being the last of survivor of my new race.

One day at The Con, The Guy dressed as The Cop found the perfect axe. That was the day he became AXE COP!

“I need a partner now.” So Axe Cop had tryouts and hired a partner.

“My name is Lyra!”

“Sign up here Harp Cop, we have a gang of changelings to kill.”

So the new team went into the land of snobby rich ponies and fought the gang of changelings with their axe and harp.

“I WILL CHOP YOUR HEAD OFF!”

So they cut the Changeling Queen's head off, then devised a plan.

“We should put this head on a stick and hide bombs in it.”

But Harp Cop got changeling blood on her. “I feel strange...”

The changeling blood caused Harp Cop to unexpectedly transform into a changeling soldier!

And so they became Axe Cop and Changeling Soldier!

Marcus. A closet brony who just came out of his shell goes to Brony-con with an MLP hoodie he made based off Pinkamena. He arrived, and bought a knife with Pinkie's Cutie Mark on the hilt. Now, he has to help the mane six fight their most deadly threat. Sunny Town. And fight insanity caused by images of him doing... Cupcakes... You get me. And take care of Apple Bloom, while sorting out his feeling towards a certain cyan Pegasus.

He also has to deal with weird 'Displaced' as they call it... Swell...

"A broken mare in the right place, can make all the difference..."

A failed experiment.

Not exactly new for Twilight. But when the outcome brings forth its own science, the likes of which her nation hadn't even yet dared to hope for, the ponies of Equestria slowly realize that they're in for the adventure of a lifetime.

The problem is, they might just not be ready for the revolutions that technological advancement always brings.

And they're about to get hundreds of years of human science and advancements all at once.

As a forewarning, updates will likely be erratic. I have every intention of finishing this story, it's just that my life has been rather crazy lately as I'm sure many of you can imagine.

This story is a sequel to How many friends have you made today?!

Things are a lot better for Anon since the events of Ponyville. His store is doing great and he enjoys the company of all his friends. As the days go on, he finds that the problems of the past are quick to haunt him as he is forced to face the one thing that hurt him the most.

Nearly a century ago, he found himself in a world he recognized, one he dove into with an enthusiasm only an RPG lover could manage. But it wasn't everything he'd hoped, it wasn't a paradise. It was a prison. Now, after a desperate attempt to flee that empty world, he finds himself lost once again. Only now, he can feel the wind and the snow. He can feel hunger gnawing at his stomach. He feels the burn of every step he pushes his body to take.

Definitely worth it.
