Hello there, my name is Thomas Cutler. I used to be human, but after a chance meeting what I understand to be a God decided to lift me out of my life and drop me into an amazing world I never thought existed.

The catch is, I am no longer human, but instead a spriggan. Also, I have to play an unexplained part in some kind of game, my role in which is supposed to become clear in time.

I don't know how much time I have, but I get the feeling that testing the patience of a God isn't the greatest idea, so I'd better get to it.

It has been three years since the rogue Draconequus Morrigan threatened the stability of Equestria, and a further three since the defeat of Nightmare Moon. Since then, life has settled for even Equestria's newest resident, Goldenrod. However, following a bizarre celestial event, Twilight Sparkle has received not just a quest from Princess Celestia, but one that has the fate of the Mother of all Alicorns in the balance. If they fail, it's not just the Mother of the Alicorns that will die; all Alicorns and the peace they bring to the world will die out with her.

The fate of Equestria rests in the hooves of Twilight Sparkle and her ragtag team Celestia's chosen and participants in the 'Morrigan Affair'. Martin Fairbridges was trying to get by with a regular life, a job as a night manager at a corner store, trying to find BETTER work, and looking for his destiny. It's true, Martin had always had the sense that he was meant for something greater than where he was currently in his life, but he never could figure out what it was. One day he gets his chance via a strange occurrence after his shift which then lands him in the world of equestria. On a completely different world far from home, he must adapt to the change in the environment, and the changes happening to himself turning him into something far better than a human. Not only must he do this, but he must earn the trust of Equestria and all who reside within this mystical land but he must do so before it falls under the shadow of Phobos, an ancient evil that feeds upon and uses fear itself.

For Warren Ashland, the clock is ticking as a chain of events that was set into motion the moment he woke in Equestria comes to a vicious head.
