She thought her life would be simple: go to school, get a great job, and live the rest of her days, happily. That is, until she meets Starlight Glimmer, a girl who could run academic laps around her with ease. Maybe she wasn't as smart as she thought.

The Everton AU follows Sunset Shimmer's human counterpart as she navigates her way through life, school, and the relationships that come with it.

This has been a passion project of mine for going on two years, now. I hope people enjoy reading it just as much as I have enjoyed writing it!

This story is a sequel to Shadowbolts Adventures: Let It Snow

School. The first frontier.
These are the adventures of the Crystal Prep Shadowbolts.
On their 12-year mission to learn new things and grow up.
To boldly go where everybody has gone before.

This is the rest of the story that began way back in 2015 with "Music To Our Ears", as the Crystal Prep Shadowbolts live their day to day lives, occasionally embarking on exceptional adventures and journeys, and always learning how to not be terrible people. They're joined by their friends the Wondercolts and Dazzlings, who have their own problems and issues to deal with, such as rogue magic powers and the end of a millennium of existence.

This story is an ongoing "Webcomic" style story. It will be updated on a daily basis with much shorter chapters 5 days a week Monday-Friday (unless I get far enough ahead for the occasional weekend updates). However, don't worry about getting confused about what's going on at any given time. If you wish to relive old adventures or keep track of specific storylines, what story each chapter belongs to will be clearly marked for reader convenience.

I hope you'll join me for this ride and enjoy it as much as I have been and will continue to.

Sunset didn't realize just how different other dimensions could be before going through the portal. Now she finds herself in a world where people never age or grow, they just attend high school forever. Whether she's entered a paradise or a nightmare remains to be seen.

It was supposed to be a normal weekend sleepover at Rainbow’s house, not like the one three weeks ago when they summoned a demon by accident, but the night of fun for the girls got interrupted by a sudden blackout, and if that wasn’t enough, Sunset’s powers went out of control, giving her an insatiable desire to snuggle her friends.

Sunset Shimmer and her friends receive remarkable news: Princess Twilight is poised to become the queen of all Equestria! As the girls celebrate the invitation to their friend's upcoming coronation, Sunset's horrified to find that she's not just selflessly happy for her best friend. If not princesshood, what's she meant to do with her life anyway? What's her destiny in the human world?

As Equestrian Magic grows more powerful due to an ominous, inter-dimensional rip in space-time above Canterlot High, Sunset's friends are affected by a dangerous, new magic and she's left to wonder if she's done more harm here than good.

This story is a sequel to The Exes Club. Helpful, but not required reading. Themes and ideas introduced there are developed further here.

Especially Twilight Sparkle. Sunset has been secretly having trouble sleeping, cutting her skin open with a razor blade, and wearing the old leather jacket she wore back in the days she was a bully. And boy does Rarity, of course, thinks it doesn't match her current style. Twilight decides to find out what her friend has been hiding from them, as she doesn’t like it seeing her best friend in a sorry state. But what is Sunset hiding? Is it good? Bad? Only 1 way to find out. And Twilight is gonna be in for a big one!
