Gallus and Smolder have formally begun a relationship, and start out by going on a date. But of course, the first date is always the hardest...especially when they still aren't entirely sure how they want this to work.

But maybe the date's just what they need for that.

Sequel to "Somnambulism". Reading it first is encouraged, but shouldn't have to be required--you should still be able to follow along anyway.

After following a baby griffon into a dangerous situation, Fluttershy finds herself rescued by a kind-hearted dragon and ends up befriending him. Ultimately, they both decide to raise the child. As Fluttershy and her friends spend time with the lonely dragon, the more he learns about friendship and the more he reveals about his tragic past.

Though, if you think for a second that I'm one of those 'special' creatures that can be a hero, then you are clearly mistaken. For me, I would only wish that I were one. Instead, I'm a journalist working at a newspaper with an overly vibrant boss and co-workers that are just as joyful to work there.

But before I go further... let me introduce myself. My name is Gabby. I work for The Maretropolis Times newspaper, even though my dream is to be a hero one day. At first, I thought the kind of work that I was doing was that of a dead end job. But one day, my boss gives me an assignment that might possibly turn things around for me.

Written for PonyFest's Iron Author Contest. The whole story was conceived, written, and edited in the span of two hours. For the sake of fun I've decided not to go back and edit anything further. You're seeing exactly what those who judged it saw.

Bab Seed goes on an adventure of a lifetime, or at least that what she was expecting until she was saddled with delivering cat food to Granny Golden Delicious's house. Things couldn't get any more boring... until she finds a poorly disguised King Sombra attempting to steal her basket with a motor-mouthing Cozy Glow beside him. Before she can process any of this, Derpy crashes through the window with a dead body in her hooves and the police show up to arrest all of them. There is going to be a lot of explaining to be done and mysteries to unravel and it's up to detective BlueBlood to end the case.

Yes, this is based off the seriously underrated movie, Hoodwinked, and involves a multiple POV retelling of events with overlapping ties and a really good though cliche twist. Each chapter will have an Interlude Chapter posted before it introducing the character to be speaking their POV in the corresponding chapter.

To make things more challenging on me I used a random assortment of characters as replacement like;

Also, I will be following the canon as closely as possible, by that as close to the show's canon so expect some rather fun and odd reasons why certain characters are doing certain things. The biggest point of the movie was to find out why these characters were gathered together like this and I plan to explore the same idea, just with a less flexible cast to really push my limits in storytelling.

Hey my name is Maximus Meridius (Yes I was named after the main character of Gladiator.) and I was on my way to Comic-Con when a speeding car t-boned my car. Instead of instantly killing me the impact sent me to Equestria as a Guardian. I would have been fine with that, seeing as I'm a brony and all, but I was sent two thousand years in the past. Well I guess I could... you know wait it out seeing as I'm a Guardian now. So the big question for me is. What to do while I wait... Eh... I'll think of some thing.

No one would believe in the last years of the thirteenth century, that equine affairs were being watched by intelligences which inhabited the timeless swirls of space. No one would believe that we were being scrutinized as if someone with microscope studies beings that swarm and multiply in a drop water. Few ponies even considered the possibilities of life on other planets. And Yet across the gulf of luna’s space, minds immeasurably superior to ours regarded this earth with envious eyes. And slowly... and surely... they drew their plans against us.

P.S. I thought about making a 2005 version of the War of the Worlds movie since there's really nothing for this version. Hope you like it. Oh and the tripod noises work well for chapter two.

Edit: Just to let you all know. I've fixed the names for the two delegates. I never did know what their names were and I apologize for that. Oh and on another note, this takes place when season 3 ends.

Celestia and Luna thought they killed off all the black and red alicorns eons ago. Sadly, they were wrong. Dead wrong!
