It was a sunny day to day as I was on my way to Comic-Con. I was dressed as a hunter from Destiny with exotic armor pieces from both Destiny 1 and Destiny 2. Wait I forgot to introduce my self didn't I. Yeah I did... anyways my name is Maximus Meridius, yes I know it's the name for the main character from Gladiator. Back to what I was doing... which was... oh right driving to Comic-Con. So I decided to go with exotic armor pieces for reasons of fuck it and I felt like it. So I was wearing the Orpheus Rig boots, Lucky Raspberry chest, Sealed Ahamkara Grasps, and Celestial Nighthawk which was siting in the passenger's seat next to me.
I had made it to a parking lot that was a few miles from the Convention Center. Eh...well at least it has a few parking spots so I go to pull into the parking lot and found a spot close to the exit. Once in the spot I grabbed Celestial Nighthawk and got out of my car. I put Nighthawk on top of my car to double check that my phone and wallet were in the pouch on my left hip, they were there. So with my phone and wallet secure in the pouch I put the exotic helmet on my head and pulled the hood of the Legend of Six Coyotes cloak over the helmet and walked off to the convention center.
(Five hours Later)
"The hell... Why doesn't any of these vendors sell Destiny guns?" I asked no one in particular.
"Maybe it's because you weren't looking hard enough Hunter." states a Xûr, or rather someone cosplaying as Xûr.
"Tha fuck? Oh... hey you're selling Destiny weapons good!" I exclaim as I walk over to Xûr's stall. The man was selling everything from Zen Meteor to The Legend of Acrius and Helm of Saint-14 to Bones of Eao.
There were a few weapons that caught my attention. The main weapons being Bolt-Caster and The Legend of Acrius, but then I noticed Icebreaker and Sunshot sitting next to each other, more specifically above and below each other. I was torn on what to buy seeing as I could only buy what I could carry because I forgot my backpack at the hotel I was staying at.
"Like what you see hunter?" asked Xûr
"Yeah, it's quite the collection you have here." I answered then noticed there was three black duffel bag with the hunter, titan, and warlock logos on the side of them. As I looked down at the bags. Then Xûr started talking again.
"Ah... I see you noticed the Starter kits. Each bag as a set of armor for each class in them along with one Primary, one Secondary, and one heavy weapon and a Ghost shell. Though I see you already have an armor set Hunter."
"Yeah, well one could alway use another set of armor and weapons. So how much for the hunter starter kit?" I asked Xûr
"One thousand one hundred and thirty dollars." answers Xûr
"Hm... and just out of curiosity how much would Sunshot, Outbreak Prime, Zhalo Supercell with Not a Toy ornament, Icebreaker with dunemaker ornament, Legend of Acrius with the Emperor's Pleasure ornament, Merciless with Break of Dawn ornament, Bolt-Caster, Iron Gjallarhorn, and Super Good Advice on top of the Hunter starter kit?" I asked knowing that if I get the starter kit I get something to hold everything I want.
"That would be two thousand four hundred and thirty dollars. Though I could add some ornaments to the starter kit's armor for say an extra twenty bucks. What do you say hunter?"
"I think I will take it!" I exclaim as I hand over $2,450 out of 5K I had in my wallet. Knowing a few legendary armor sets that uses ornaments. The Age of Triumph raid armor, the Trials of Osiris' Vigil armor, and the Days of Iron set. So I was curious what armor set was in the bag.
"Best of luck to you Hunter!" stated Xûr cosplayer enthusiastically as I walked off with my bag of goodies. Not long afterwords I started to get sick to my stomach and started towards the bathrooms that were close by, but I never made it there as I blacked out not three feet from the bathroom doors.
"Time to get up Maximus." stated a female British voice that sounded off above me.
"Wha... what happened?" I asked the Ghost with an Ironwolf Shell
"Well, you died... again" stated the Ghost in the Ironwolf Shell though she said that last part as if it was a daily occurance.
"I can see that." I said as I looked down at the pool of blood, that stained sand a bronze color, that I stood in.
"So uh..." I start to ask my Ghost where I was, but I forgot her name, must have hit my head harder than I though
"Faye and you gave it to me several years ago. How can you forget that?" asked Faye after stating that I named her.
"I did?" I asked her
"Yes." answered Faye slightly annoyed
"Hmph... Ah, now I remember, must have hit my head harder than I thought." I stated as the memories came back to me from the day I bout that starter pack from Xûr at that comic convention. It was odd for instead of going straight to Equestria I ended up in the shell of Anaheim and eventualy went through the campaign of Destiny 1 and Destiny 2, all DLC missions included.
"That you did." stated Faye
"Hm, so Faye got any idea where we are besides in a desert?" I asked Faye
"No, but it looks like we've got company coming and they don't look very friendly." answered Faye. So I got off my ass and looked around for any form of cover which was nonexistent, but there were some high sand dunes and a sear vertical cliff to my six and open dessert every where else. There as a caravan full of caged carts pulled by horses and teams of oxen. There were some camels towards the back caring stuff. At the front of the caravan there was what looked like a first class looking chariot being pulled by a team of oxen. So I decided to approach the caravan to see if they could point me in to the nearest village or town. Once I was about fifty feet from the caravan someone shot a arrow at me which I easily caught.
"Halt, creature. Make any sudden movements, you will die!" shouted a female voice as several female beings started to approach me while the caravan halted it's forward momentum. I didn't move mainly because I was examining the arrow head that looked like it was two pronged with fishhooks on the outside edges of the prongs.
"What is going on Commander!?" demanded an accented female voice that broke me from examining the arrow head in my hand.
"There seems to be a male creature clad in strange armor a head, Ma'am!" answered this Commander who was the one to yelled at me to stop.
"Well then capture it. It could go for a much higher price than these slaves." stated a different female voice that had posh edge to it.
'Mother fucking slavers.' I thought as I dropped the arrow in my hand and reached down to my hip, to find nothing there, so I grabbed at my back to find The Distant Star there and pointed it at the approaching females in armor. Three of them started laughing.
"What is that thing?" asked one
"I don't know nor care, it won't penetrate our armor!" boasted another
"Where's the arrows?" asked third genuinely curious all the while laughing their collective asses off.
Some sort of scorpion made entirely of sand burst out of the sand not twenty feet from our little group. Instincts kicked in and I fired twice at the tail to knock off the stinger, then I fired another three rounds into what looked like the things face. The five rounds' bark was so loud to the women in armor that they nearly jumped ten feet in the air. To me it was another day in the office.
"Right there." I state which got them to stop laughing in a heartbeat.
"It talks!?!?" all four of them question loud enough to get the 'Commander's and the first voice's attention and to question the four in front of me. Yet that was what they focused on not the five gunshots, weird.
"What was that!?" demanded both voices
"The creature talked and fired something at the Sandcrawler that jumped out of the sand which killed the sandcrawler!" responded the female closest to the caravan. I could hear the two voices in the background arguing until I think the 'Commander' won the argument. With that a fifth armored female walked towards me, but her armor was different in the fact that it was more more ornate than the four in front of me. Once the new arrival got to me the four already here saluted their Commander with their right fist over their heart, just like the ancient Romans did, interesting.
"So, I hear you can talk, then you are not from around here I presume?" asks the 'Commander' as she removes her helmet to reveal shoulder length maroon red hair, emerald green eyes and a well tanned face, being the only section of skin open to the elements. The rest of her is hidden under that ornate armor of hers.
"Aye, that I am." I answer as I lower the hood of the Idyll of the Iron Lords cloak, with the ornament active, and dispel the Days of Iron Crown, with the ornament active. That got all of the women in front of me to blush in varying states of light red to crimson red.
"Oh wow! Maximus these two have wings!" exclaimed Faye as she materialized behind the woman in armor to the far left of the group.
"What is that?" asked the woman to the left of the Commander who tried to swipe at Faye with her sword.
"My Ghost." I answer her question
"Huh?" asks all five of them
"Basically my companion who can pick locks, hold stuff, and some other stuff I think... oh and can revive me." I explain
"Surely you jest on that last one. Right?" asks the Commander, who I have not gotten her name nor the names of the other women.
"Nope. I have revived him way too many times, I think I actually lost count after the four hund thousandth revive. That man is prone to death." states Faye
"Hey, it's not my fault there are so many danm drop offs with in the Dreadnought!" I rebuke Faye's comment.
"And the remains of the Rig on Titian, the cliffs of Istar on Venus, the many different Fallen, Fallen walkers, the many different Cabal, Cabal Goliaths, and the the many different Vex platforms, and don't get me started on the Hive." corrects Faye
"Ok, fine I'm death prone alright!" I state knowing that was all true.
"Well... I see. You certainly are not fr-" states the Commander, but was interrupted by a monstrous roar from the other side of the caravan.
*RRROOOAAARRR*
"The hell was that!" I asked pulling The Distant Star out and aiming it in the general direction of the roar as a giant scorpion like creature rose from the sands far off in the distance.
"A Sandcrawler and... by the Empress that's a Monarch sandcrawler." states the Commander.
"Faye, what other weapons are available?" I ask her

"Right, lets switch out the armor for Celestial Nighthawk, Sealed Ahamkara Grasps, Raiden Flux, Orpheus Rig, and Legend of Six Coyotes. Give me Thorn, Merciless, and Iron Gjallarhorn." I state to Faye, "Commander get that caravan moving while I get it's attention and draw it away from you." I tell the Commander as the six of us walk back to the caravan.
"But you surly can't take it down by your self. It would take a full squad to take down just one standard sandcrawler. You most certainly can't take down a Monarch. It is just impossible." states the Commander as we made it to the chariot at the front of the caravan.
"What is impossible, Commander?" asked a female voice from the chariot at the front of the caravan.
"This fool trying to take on a Monarch, Princess Ivy Jewel." answered the Commander
"And you can back those claims up?" asked Princess Ivy
"That I can your Highness, I have killed Athion Time's Conflux, Hive God Prince Crota, his father Oryx the Taken King, Aksis, a cybernetic being calling itself a God, Dominus Ghaul an usurper of an Emperor, Panoptes Infinite Mind, Xol, a Hive Worm God, a machine double of an Emperor as a test, Argos Planetary Mind, Val Ca'uor, Riven of a Thousand Voices, Insurrection Prime, Gahlran, and the Sanctified Mind." I answer as Faye displays holographic video snippets of my deeds to protect and reclaim the Last Safe City alongside my Fireteam, best friends in the world, and Mai.
"Well then shall we get a move on Commander." stated Princess Ivy
"What? But your Highness this fool is going to get him self killed!" stated the Commander
"Commander Sky Shock this stallion has killed beings that are quite literally the definition of a god on multiple occasions. Now, do you have a name good Sir?" asked Princess Ivy after berating commander Sky Wing
"Iron Lord Maximus Meridius, Guardian of the Last Safe City of Earth, your Highness." was my reply with a respectful bow
"Ah... Messenger!" called out the Princess, who had been writing something down on a piece of paper the entire time I had been speaking.
"Yes, your Highness." stated yet another female pegasus with pink skin and a rainbow mane and tail, though she was wearing a stylized set of light armor.
"Do be a dear and deliver this to my mother in Alexandria." stated Princess Ivy who handed a scroll to the messenger. The messenger then saluted the princess and shot off into the sky like a rocket.
"*Whistle*Damn, she's pretty fast." I comment on the speed in which the messenger took off at which if my math is correct is somewhere in the ballpark of mack 5. Which reminded me of another prismatic speedster.
"All messengers need to be to get messages delivered as fast as posible." stated Princess Ivy
"Princess! The monarch is moving towards Alexandria!" stated a female scout who landed next to me.
'Jesus are all being on this planet women?' I though to myself but to over the bond that Faye and I have.
"Well then Iron Lord, your time to shine." stated Princess Ivy before barking out orders to get moving as I walked away from her chariot.
"Hey Faye?" I asked my Ghost
"Yeah?" was her reply
"The sparrow network up and running?" I ask
"Yes, which I find extremely odd." stated Faye
"Eh... Well, can't look a gift horse in the mouth." I state
"True." states Faye
So I summoned the sparrow which turned out to be the Vespulaser. I was half expecting one of the legendary sparrows in my inventory to spawn. So once on my metal stead I boosted past the princess' chariot hollering like the idiot that I can be sometimes.
