In which Equestria's newest Princess comes back from a year of royal training, with a wife in tow, which happens to be one Trixie Lulamoon

Shortly after the events of 'Magic Duel', Trixie reconsiders life on the road. She had returned to Ponyville to prove herself to Twilight Sparkle. But perhaps it wasn't for the reason she originally thought.
She returns once more to finish patching things up with her but there are other issues at hoof. Twilight extends her hospitality, but there are her many questions about the showmare left unanswered. Where has she been? What did she do while she was away? How did she amass so much wealth in that time?
Trixie has dodged Twilight's scary questions long enough. But the answers may be more frightening still.

This story is a sequel to Show Business

When Twilight and Trixie started a relationship they knew there would be challenges if it was going to work. Luckily they at least have magic, so the unlikely couple can keep in touch while the traveling performer roaming Equestria. Invade their privacy and read their mail as we see how they kept in touch over the course of their relationship.
Meant as an addition to my previous work Show Business starting right after chapter 5, so it might not make sense with out the context. Going to run along side of the original story, though I'm not sure how consistent it's going to be. Timeline might end up jumping around if I get different ideas, so I'll probably make sure to indicate where the letters take place as more chapters are added.
As always let me know what you think. This is just going to be a little side project so it might be influences heavily by suggestions.
Will get the teen rating since it will probably be referencing things that happen in the original story.

Twilight is called to Manehattan by Princess Celestia, and decides to have fun around the city while she's there. But when a certain azure unicorn suddenly apperas, things start to go Twilight's way once again.
Was originally all going to be one chapter, but it seemed rather redundant.
Plus I like making cliffhangers.
Due to one of the comments I got i added an explanation to the story, it'll show up the chapter after the next.
The references will ensue the chapter after the next; and randomness will ensue in chapter 2

Twilight just wants to read, preferably without any third-pony interruptions. But Trixie clearly has her own idea about what Twilight really wants, and it doesn’t seem to include reading.

Note: No romance novels are harmed in the telling of this story, though maybe they should be.

After Twilight is kidnapped, it's up to Trixie and the Elements of Harmony to save her. They travel to Canterlot in search of answers, but get more than they bargained for. With some truly surprising knowledge, they set out on a quest to save the princess.

As they begin thinking of each other in a new light, things only seem to be getting more awkward between them. After nearly a year, Trixie returns to Ponyville, but for what? Why did she put herself in harm's way to return there of all places? Does she have yet another scheme in store for the Ponyvillians?
