The Quest Next Chapter · 3:46pm Nov 14th, 2016
Guys, I've written myself into a corner today, but I've made great progress. Once I know how our heroes get out of this predicament, the chapter will be nearly ready. Oh yeah, surprise! I'm not dead!

Hey guys, I'm posting this, because I just added a scene to the latest chapter of The Quest. I didn't have a full chapter for you, but I did decide I left that one unfinished. I unpublished and republished the chapter after I made the additions, but I have no idea if that hit anyone's feed. Nevertheless, I'm working on the next chapter right now, and I'm hoping this extra scene will get you back on the edges of your seats for it.
If you see one lying around somewhere, I'd appreciate if you'd return it. Kidding, but I really did get an appendectomy on the 8th. I've been scarce due to pain and sleeping said pain off while I recovered. I'm not completely healed up, but it's been two weeks. I'm back to work, so there's not really much of an excuse not to be on here. It's about time for me to put out a new chapter of The Quest, anyway.
I went backpacking this weekend up in the Virginian Appalachians. We went to a pretty popular spot on Old Rag Mountain. Weird name, right? I thought so. It was a good 9 mile hike, and the trip was fantastic. I had a lot of fun and got plenty of exercise. There was a piece of the trail that was a rock scramble. At a certain point, it was more like rock climbing! There were a lot of people there on Saturday, and that made me extremely uncomfortable, but it was manageable. I don’t like crowds.
Hey guys. I just finished the next chapter of The Quest, but I won't be posting it tonight. It'll get a little more attention tomorrow mid-afternoon, so look for it then, yeah?
Peace out.
It's finally here, folks. I completed the next chapter, and Trixie's quest to save Twilight finally begins. She and her friends finally set out into the treacherous Everfree to defeat the ancient and evil Draconequii. Read more here!
I'm so pissed off right now. I'm ready to send this piece of shit laptop off my balcony. Not only has the infernal thing given me more grief in 5 days than my other laptop gave me in 2 years, (never buy a Toshiba... ever) but it also caused me to lose something wonderful. I've had this happen to me twice now, each time on this story. I don't know why the universe wants me not to write this story, but there must be a reason. Why else would I be tormented so? Each time I write something
I'm sure most readers of my Twixieverse stories have given up on its (most likely) final installment, but I was actually working on it today and made some real progress. As I've said before, I'm really going to rewrite the first two as well, maybe even the SpikeBloom spinoff. It'll be like when one of your favorite animes gets a reboot, and it's even more badass!
Think more along the lines of this...
Well, this chapter garnered nowhere near the attention I had hoped it would. Sad, really. I really wanted to see what people thought of this chapter in particular. I worked hard on it, and I thought there were some interesting developments to the story in this one.
I know I put out a blog asking what people wanted to see from me next, and Let the Sun Shine won by a landslide, but there were enough for this story that I thought it would be worth doing both.
No need to use a masterball on this one, folks. I'm looking to be finished with the next chapter of The Quest, entitled Full of Surprises, by tonight. There's some foreshadowing, some dark undertones, dark overtones, and of course some Discord-related comedic relief. There might be a bit too much exposition in this one, but I tried to leave some stuff to the imagination still. I've got some tricks up my sleeve yet. I'm 3,000 words in, and I'm expecting this one to be around 4,000, give
Over 500 words of dialogue alone. Fuck my life!
What do you guys think?
Just a sneak peek.
There was a time when only the draconequi ruled Gaia, but that all changed when the draconequus known as Harmony gave up her true form and bred two beings, from which all equine-based life originated...
