Also, why 'punish' Trixe? That would just send the message that Mob Justice was not only allowed but was the right thing.
Twi should probably be getting the details correct and then publically shaming the mobs that have been attacking Trixie.

I feel that Twilight is of the opinion that the ponies are attempting to punish Trxie for her perceived "crimes" and that issuing a decree or statement defending Trixie would only serve to further Trixie's torment. Where "punishing" Trixie is a win win. it allows Twilight to, house, feed, ensure Trixie's physical and emotional well being. While satisfying every pony that believes Trixie should be punished. As for the Dungeon goes i will answer your question with a question. What's the point of a castle without a Dungeon? :D

7107241 It does end a with a bit of a different tone than it started with. And I can only attribute that to myself being in different places mentally at the beginning versus the end. When I started this story I was exploring some of my own darker emotions through Trixie.

I was hoping for a bit of a longer story. The pacing was a bit quick, zero to in bed in three days. But, an enjoyable story. I like Trixie shipping. I'm writing a Twixie story of my own that actually parallels a few themes in this story.
