Twilight Sparkle, a new ruler in Equestria, has only been a princess for a few weeks. She just returned from an adventure in a new world that she never knew of, but she still doesn't feel ready for life as a leader. On the other hoof, Flash Sentry is just a new member of the Canterlot Royal Guard. As a member of the guard, his job is to protect the three princesses in Canterlot, as well as tour with them wherever they go. This turns into a romantic relationship, and they live happily ever after.

Actually, no they don't. That only happens in fairy tales.

Rated Teen for suggestive scenes and innuendo jokes, but if you know me you know that my stories are always the PG rated version, where the acts aren't described after kissing or touching. This story takes place after Equestria Girls but before Season 4, not including any new developments in the series or comics after the movie.

Flash is now suffering from depression, and with nopony wanting to talk to him anymore, Flash questions his sanity, and, in what direction will his life go as he struggles to pull himself out of his depression. Just how long will it take for Flash to finally crack, or with somepony help him before that day comes?

A newly appointed princess, Twilight Sparkle, has struck many with her beauty, but none other than Flash Sentry. An ordinary guard sworn to guard Princess Celestia and other royals with his life. Unfortunately, it is against rules to have "feelings" for anypony they protect. If Flash Sentry is caught loving Twilight, it will destroy his reputation he worked so hard to earn, and be stripped of his position as "Royal Guard".

Flash Sentry must battle his own feelings to keep the job he had worked so much for since he was a foal. As time goes on, it becomes more and more difficult to hold back his emotion and on top of this is an abusive Captain who controls the Royal Guard...

Twilight had always been the one to save the day, but what happens when she is the one in need of saving. The Changeling queen is back and out for revenge.

Twilight is just adjusting to her duties as the princess of friendship, and what that really means, but she is not just that with her special talent being magic her hands are always full. Then when Flash sentry is assigned as not just one of her new guards, but her personal guard, things change. Just as the two realize their true feelings for each other the changeling queen comes and kidnaps twilight. But she’s not interested in feeding, she out for revenge. Can Flash and the other elements of harmony get to her in time?

Twilight decided to spent some time with her brother and Cadence, but keeps bumping into a sertain pony named, Flash Sentry. Twilight tries to pay much attention to it but, she starts falling slowly in love with him. Will she take a chance with him.

Princess Cadence decides to play matchmaker again; she organizes a visit to Ponyville to have a brunch with Twilight and her friends (like what Princess Celesita did when Fluttershy stole Philomena). She brings along Flash Sentry as her bodyguard, although her real intention is to hook him up with her sister-in-law.

Will she succeed with her plan? And will Twilight and Flash become a couple?

Since the wedding of Princess Twilight Sparkle and Captain Flash Sentry, they have been anticipating anything unexpected. But what happens when they are caught off-guard by the unexpected?

Twilight has been working nonstop for the past couple days. She could really use some time to relax. When a certain orange stallion come to visit, she may finally be able to get the rest she so desperately desires.

I know, I know. I am taking a HUGE risk writing this. Flashlight might possible be the most hated shipping out there. I'm one of the few who actually does ship it. This is just a cute little short story.
On that note, if you do not like Flashlight, please do not downvote this story simply because you dislike the shipping. I'd sincerely appreciate it if you'd at least read it. It would mean a lot to me if you would read it.
