My environmental geology class had an assignment to write a short piece of fiction including an accurate depiction of stratovolcanoes, their features, and hazards. I of course saw this as an opportunity to send my professor some pony. Prepare to be educated.

Samson is considered more of your stay-at-home pony. "Home" in this case is a cave underneath Ponyville where he uses reflected sunlight to grow barley, which he sells in his shop. Being a stay-at-home pony, this shop is also underground. These stories chronicle the many adventures/misadventures/intriguing conversations/sales/random things that are sure to occur in Samson's Barely Shop!

This story is a sequel to No, I Am Not A Brony, Get Me Outta Equestria!

After leaving Ponyville, the human TD Harrison Powell finds himself in even stranger territory than the land of the ponies. Will he find his way home? Or will he find out that he should have stayed in Ponyville under the watchful eyes of the Royal Sisters after all?

I'd heard about the TV show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic from my college roommate who is way too into the show. Disturbingly so, actually, but good gravy I would never watch the darned thing! What am I, five? I've got better things to do with my time than watch a silly little girl's show. However, that didn't stop... something from transporting me into the world of the show, so here I am... in Equestria... trying to get home. This is gonna be interesting.

An Alternate universe that deviates from the storyline seen in No, I am NOT a Brony, GET ME OUTTA EQUESTRIA!!! in which Celestia reveals at the Gala that she can in fact send him home.

Eager to do exactly what he's been waiting to do, he grabs his Clovevellian Staff and computer, and is promptly sent back to Earth, free from any more pony (and no, he will most certainly NOT be watching the show either).

A year passes and TD is happy back on Earth and has a job as an RA at his school. You know, the kind of job that requires a lot of human contact.

That's when the box shows up...

Celestia wants Twilight and her friends to loosen up a little bit around her. Luna just wants to try the hard cider. During a surprise visit to Sweet Apple Acres at the tail end of cider season, Princess Luna has just a bit too much to drink, and when she makes a rather inappropriate joke, Twilight comes to the very uncomfortable realization that she has never seen Celestia excuse herself to use the restroom.

Applejack has found a mysterious photo album in the depths of her basement. While looking through it, she discovers an unfamiliar pony. With the help of Twilight Sparkle, Applejack discovers a new connection with the closest family member one can ever have: a twin.

Fluttershy was beginning to worry why everypony was acting like she wasn’t there—more so than usual—until she discovered that despite spending most of the day in Ponyville, she’d never even gotten out of bed. At least, her body hadn’t... Nor was it breathing...

Even if Fluttershy isn’t ready to give up on life just yet, The AfterLife is calling, and it isn’t patient.
