There are 100 billion stars in the Milky Way, and humanity is determined to explore every one. We send probes, probes with the blueprints to reproduce human explorers upon arrival. Uninhabited worlds the galaxy over can be colonized and populated, until after many years they too can join the vast throng of interstellar civilization. But if a probe is very, very lucky, it will land on a populated world instead. Equestria is one such world.

Even so, it's far from perfect for colonization, not with an environment lethal to human life. But each probe is resourceful and armed with the greatest machine intelligence mankind has devised. If placing a human mind into a newly manufactured human body won't work, it will just have to get a little more creative.

Celestia brings the Statue of Discord to Ponyville with the wary intention of releasing him, as per a mysterious deal negotiated between Discord and the alicorn sisters. With the ancient war between Harmony and Discord now officially over, with the Chaos God curious over his own defeat, both sides most decide what to do now. Can Discord make a place for himself among ponykind or will he leave Equestria entirely?

It'll at least be interesting with the reluctant supervision and aid of the six who defeated him, Discord actually putting forth some effort, and Celestia personally keeping an eye on everything.

A retelling of Keep Calm and Flutter On with a more long term reformation of Discord.

Nightmare Moon's return was cause for a lot a fear and panic. A lot of Chaos. Isn't it possible, nay probable, that all of that might have reached a certain draconequus statue? A certain draconequus that, once free, is a bit confused about what happened, and decides to investigate into who alicorn-napped Celestia and stole his shtick. When he realizes its Luna as what he dubs "The Eternal Prom Night Queen" (among other things) that's when things get interesting.

Watch how things unhold for the Mane 6, the Princesses, and all of Equestria when Discord not only gets free during Nightmare Moon's return, but also playing a major role in stopping her and saving the day. And seriously, what now, princess? Going to stone the hero while pardoning the villain?

This will be a Rewrite of the series. Don't worry though, Discord may seem nicer than he should be, but he is more curious than anything.
