Sunset was devastated. It hurts, knowing what she's lost. Forced away from the only friends she's known, she feels like Anon-A-Miss has won. Somehow, she makes it home, and finds herself doing something she rarely does: watching television. Early in the morning hours, she's awoken by the sounds of a children's show with a man who wears a red cardigan.

Somehow, this soft spoken man reaches inside her and gives her peace with just eight words: "I Like You Just the Way You Are"

A tribute to a great man, and my own way of memorializing his life in one of my favorite shows. Like he said once, I may not be good at this, but I still enjoy it.

Featured story! Thanks so much for this! You're all wonderful people, and it's you that I like.

Life for Sunset Shimmer took a turn for the worse when Anon-a-Miss single handedly sowed the seeds of distrust amongst her friends and the entire school, but things got worse when the identity of Anon-a-Miss is finally revealed. Unable to forget how those she thought were her friends and family were quick to assume she had relapsed to her old ways of being a bully, Sunset turns her back on them as they once did to her and is prepared to live a life of shutting out friendship entirely. That is until she happens upon a kind stranger who not only could be the friendly ear to listen to her problems, but even teach her things about friendship that even the Princess of Friendship herself could never teach.

This story would be best read after completing Chaotic Visage, but not required; everything should more or less make sense by the end of the story without any prior reading.

Ironhide lived a long life before his final post. He drove back the Griffon hordes at the Whitespine peaks, and helped hold the keep of Black Scale for a thousand days under constant siege.

From campaign to campaign he'd flown, wreathing himself in a cloak of fire and legend. All he has left is one little post. Guard duty, it almost seemed beneath him

Then a God greeted him at the gates.

Battling with the mind of a man and the natural instincts that come with years of survival, you are a troublemaker. You're impulsive, acting mostly on instincts that even your fellow humans have shunned. You can't make sense of it; these very instincts are what kept your species alive for so long, after all.
Ponies aren't much different. They don't accept you, they don't understand you. Which is fine, because you don't understand them either. But her...
She makes sense. Her people make sense. They live a life that seems fulfilling. Maybe you chose the wrong species to surround yourself by. Maybe deep down, you really are an animal.

As the Princess of Canterlot, the Mistress of the Sun, and the most beloved ruler of Equestria, it could be assumed that Princess Celestia was the pony who ran Equestria. Few people know that she actually doesn't.

Her assistant, Raven Inkwell, does. And Equestria would be nothing without her.

Daring Do finds an interesting creature. She isn't going to take care of it, so she brings it to the Royal Sisters to deal with. Surely they can handle it, right?

It was nearly one thousand years ago that Opaline Arcana defeated Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends. Her plan had succeeded, and the three ponykinds were split, their bonds broken. However, the ordeal left Opaline drained of her magic. If she revealed herself too soon, everything would have been for naught. She had a castle, but she couldn't leave.

While she still had her followers, there was one major issue: She is immortal, and they were not. Thus, she was eventually the only one left, and she required an assistant. Unfortunately, enchantments will only get a pony so far, and wild creatures aren't exactly reliable. While a young unicorn mare named Misty Brightdawn would come to her a few years before she would finally get her chance to return to the public eye, there were hundreds of years where very little happened.

However, about sixty of those years are an exception. Those were the years that she found herself with something she never expected.

A companion. A human companion.

The aging Eros used to be the Archon of the Church of Boreas, Regent of the Griffonian Empire, bent on uniting Griffonia under the Imperial banner.

No more. Not after the undead devoured the world, led by the Queen of Bones, a unicorn named Rosa Maledicta. Her goal: to annihilate all life and usher in an eternity of death. She has almost won, for the souls that yet live are a dwindling, single-digit few.

Armed with nothing but holy water and holy bread, this lonely griffon of holy robes thus seeks out Rosa in the wasteland that is the north.
