He never wanted to be a part of anything illegal; even if he didn't have much love for ponies. He was just some guy. Some cynic that happened to live his life in Equestria, trying to live his day to day life in relative comfort and minimal contact with ponies. But through after some coaxing from his friends (read as blackmail) he was forced to attempt to steal the royal crowns from the palace and caught in the act. However, given a chance to redeem himself, the thief is offered the choice to become Princess Celestia's royal attendant.

With little other choice, this would be thief's life is turned on it's head. And now instead of a steady inconspicuous life, filled with ease and mediocrity, his life is now one of warmth, excitement, and a friendship that can only be forged once a thief begins honoring the sun.

One day you decide it's time to change it all. Instead of minding your own business, you accompany Celestia to wherever she needs to go to. A bond is certainly being established...But what kind of bond?

My first attempt at a multichapter story. Celestia has been requested a lot of times for a heartwarming moment but as soon as I began, I realized something. I wasn't able to make a one shot out of it without breaking the story. Because of that, this will be the first story I've written with more than one chapter.

I have no idea how long it will be and chapters will probably be posted once every week.

It started as a normal Equestrian morning, but doesn't it always? The princesses are frightened, and in Ponyville, a creature from a forgotten race walks into town. His kind hasn't been seen in over a thousand years, but even then he's still far from what he appears to be.

Arc 1: The First Day

Author's Note: Hey guys! This is my first story, so constructive criticism is more than welcome. I'll take this moment to say that I own nothing but my main character, the plot, and a few surprises which will appear later. All other characters and linked music are NOT mine. A word on music. At times I might offer two links to a song. The first is the OFFICIAL version, the second is the closest approximation to how I feel it is sung in the story. Just warning you, because I know some people hate covers. This story is rated teen for occasional language, implied sex, and gruesome imagery (mostly late in the story and in flashbacks). Now with technical out of the way, I wish you all happy reading, and I hope you have fun.

My name is James Clark, and I am a Private Military Contractor. No, not Mercenary. Yes, there is a difference, but that's beside the point.

Ok, where was I? Ah yes, I was just entering my office in Downtown Houston one afternoon to hear a job offer. When I got there, I found a beautiful, robe-wearing woman waiting for me. Now, in this day and age, most people would find that strange. I didn't for two reasons.

1) In this line of work, you run into a few crazies. If I had a dollar for every nut-job I turned away, I could buy a small European country.

2) It was Halloween. Hell, I was on my way to a party dressed in a replica suit of Veteran Ranger Armor from Fallout: New Vegas, complete with gas mask and real riot gear I borrowed from a friend on the SWAT team. I was gonna win the costume contest for sure!

I'm getting off topic, aren't I? Anyways, this weirdo offered me a job without going into much detail. No location, no objective, not even a dollar amount The only thing I got out of her was the promise that I would be saving thousands, if not millions of lives.

Every instinct told me to turn the job down, and yet I still accepted it. Maybe the idea of playing hero again had its appeal.

God, I had no idea what I was getting myself into.

Trixie's vengeance requires just one more "piece" to begin: Nathaniel Fray, a fresh adult whose life's full of bliss. Nate, ignorant of the existence of other worlds, gets trapped within Trixie's web, and he's summoned into the world of Equestria. Forced to co-op with an unicorn edging insanity... and solitary confinement, our hero dwells into the new world, where he will meet and embrace a violence that no one would expect to find in a world inhabited by ponies. Will his willpower... and cold blood... be enough to fulfill Trixie's unspeakable desires?

Sunny Breeze is living a quiet life in Ponyville until one night, Rainbow Dash suddenly appears at his door! What does she want? What's really going on here? What are her true motives? All may not be as it seems, especially Sunny himself.

They say that love works in mysterious ways. I always thought this was something people told the less fortunate that haven't found love yet. It's very similar to the whole "there's plenty more in the sea" theory. I'm a little skeptical about the whole situation. At least up until that one faithful morning. Where I met that special someone. . . or rather special somepony.

**Don't worry this is not a clop story. It's a true love never wanting to let go of that better half of yours story.**

One courier, one Queen, a simple delivery, and an incredible destiny. The Mojave Wasteland is a place filled with opportunity, danger, and adventure. For some, it is home. For others, a means for power. For the Courier? The birthplace of his legend.

Discord has given up. Defeated so easily? It's time to retire. But he can't just leave Equestria without chaos can he? So he selects a random human to take up his mantle and to create a new reign of chaos.

Can this human manage new powers? Will he go mad or he will he end up as a statue for foals to gawk at? Is there a third option? Not very likely but with this much power he's going to try his best to create chaos and harmony at the same time.

I do promise to try and keep this light hearted and relatively comedic. Oh right I wrote this in response to the 50 000 word pony story contest. I failed horribly but I thought I'd post what I've got up here. I do plan on finishing this and it being around 50 000 words in the end.

A little warning for you in that the prologue is written very differently then the rest of the story. Also it is mostly unnecessary if you want to skip it altogether. The other thing I promise is that the romance is between ponies only and ponies that appear in the show.

The griffon king screws up. He found an ancient artifact, and ended up summoning a very strange creature into the magical world of Equis. Lucky for him, the creature was in a coma. After a year, the creature starts to stir, and the king decides it would be a good Idea for a lonely griffon by the name of Gilda to show this creature around its new world.

(A first person fic focusing on a tracuer, somebody who does Parkour or Freerunning, and his journey through the politically hostile land of Equestria, and its surrounding Nations. A fair warning, it is a strong possibility that there will be a few grammar mistakes, but I will do my best to minimize that. Please comment, and critique.
