It turns out, the changeling invasion of Canterlot was very...improvised.

To save her sister and her faithful student, Celestia herself must travel into the ancient tunnels beneath the ruined castle in the Everfree Forest. She, and the guards who accompany her, must face the dark, twisting corridors. Still, what was Luna and Twilight's purpose at the old castle? Why were they unable to return of their own accord?

And what watches Celestia from beyond the light's edge?

The horrors of the catacombs have turned to distant memories for Celestia, Twilight, and Luna. Discord’s change of heart and Twilight’s coronation have helped to ease and erase the mental scars from that harrowing night. The three princesses can even smile and laugh as Nightmare Night moves into full swing.

Yet, it should never be forgotten that those who have been touched by Tirek are forever within his grasp.

There is a secret in Equestria. A secret the newly crowned Princess Twilight Sparkle doesn’t dare to believe. Like puppeteers pulling on marionettes, they have influenced Equestria for better and worse since the fall of Discord. So far they have been benevolent, but their potential for evil is vast. Shining Armor went on a secret mission without alerting Celestia and Luna to this act. Now he's come back, and what he brought with him is beyond Cadance's comprehension. Desperate to save her ill husband but terrified of how her aunts will react, Cadance calls upon the one individual whose magic might be able to fix this.

But when dealing with the latent power of Grogar, even Discord may be hesitant.

While travelling home from a weekend in Manehattan, Fluttershy finds herself stranded and alone at an old abandoned train station. As she explores the ancient building, she soon discovers that this particular station isn't that abandoned, and her night quickly turns into a fight for survival.
