2432051 There is... Are, actually. I identify heavily with both Rarity and Fluttershy. Rarity because I try to be (as my name suggests) generous in most aspects of life. However, I struggle a lot with greed a vanity. I am a very vain man, because I want the best things in life and I often am kicked into the dirt for lusting after those fine things.
Conversely, I am like Fluttershy, in that I suffer from severe and crippling social anxiety. Specifically, I am paranoid that everyone always has their eyes on me, because that's how I grew up. People expected me to be bad (chemical imbalances), so they watched.
As for rewrites... Push, what writer doesn't have one they'd like to fix?
