Twilight Sparkle has been at Crystal Prep for a while. She is bullied, but no one notices the bruises on her arm that shouldn't belong there.

No one notices that Principal Cinch takes a different way of warming up to the shy girl.

Sunset has had enough. After one last attempt to reason with her friends -- which failed miserably in her face, she ends everything with a literal bang. Unbeknownst to her, her deed would affect Canterlot High School forever. The very next day, the CMC, the true culprits behind Anon-a-Miss, confess and are finally brought to justice. But it's too late to make any amends. And now everyone, completely unable to live with a guilty conscience, falls into a deep depression, not knowing how to move on. Until one day...

He dismissed all the claims as nothing. He never saw the dangers. He neglected his duties for a wedding. And now as his final ounce of energy is rapidly leaving him, Shining Armour looks on as all he has known and loved is being taken away from him and his. He tries to argue that it was the work of the Changeling Queen who ruined everything for him, but she retorts with a fact that makes him realise with horror who was at fault for all of this and how it will cost him all that he has known, loved and what he has left.

Losing her friends was the start of a self-destructive spiral for Sunset Shimmer. Convinced that she will never escape the echoes of her past, she tries to take her own life.

The attempt leaves her severely injured and she falls unconscious. In her dreams, she is visited by Princess Luna. They have much to discuss, whether Sunset likes it or not.

In the Anon-A-Miss chaos fiasco thing and breaking up with her girlfriends, Sunset needed to find a way to stay away from everyone at Canterlot and CHS until she comes across a caretaker school. Deciding this would be a good idea to start, Sunset walks inside before her face was in shock of seeing kids with problems like disability, dyslexia, blind, deaf, etc. This is where her life restarts where she encounters a lonely boy who is both blind and deaf.

Following a Changeling attack that scatters every resident in Ponyville, Applejack holes up in her family home with only Apple Bloom for support. The doors and windows have been boarded shut. A thick fog covers everything in sight. Soon the first visitor comes to her door.

Now the only question is whether they're actually who they say they are.

Taking place during the time the Main 6 look for the Hippogryphs, and Tempest and Grubber going after Twilight, the Storm King arrives in Equestria for the first time in his life, making his true grand entrance to the land. While he is alone, he reveals his intentions behind why he does what he does, as well as what sort of villain he truly is.

Note: Even though this will be a very dark and sad story, there will be some slight comedic moments to compliment the contributions of Joe Ballarini, who co-wrote the movie’s story with Meghan McCarthy.
