That is the a dumb reason. The fact she made such a threat, and Cadence being the one who got it...
that all it took for her not to do anything or alert anyone else.

What gets to me is this. Twilight has a lot of support, her parents her brother and such. they know Cinch is a lair, yet that one threat has Kept Cadence from i don't know...TELLING THEM WHAT GOING ON!
that what gotten me so furious, Cadence is not alone, she can get help but she doesn't. either she so afraid of Cinch that she is Cinchs little bitch , or she utterly blind on who to turn to.
It be more believable that Candence didn't know what was going on, and Twilight doesn't say anything as she too afraid or under Cinch's control at such a level.
Abusers have at times a lot of power over their victims I know for sure.
I was a victim of abuse, and the one who abused me made me feel so scared and helpless I kept my mouth shut for years.
