Chapter I

A short young teenager was walking about a school like she didn't know what to do. Her footsteps sounded softly as she had no where to go. Her purple skin was beautiful, yet the marks on her skin was from hidden from sight. Her hair was dark purple with pink highlight. Her hair was in a bun. Her clothes were purple and pink sleepwear. She had her brain-smarts and yet, her brain-smarts couldn't help with answering her question. Why does everyone bully me? Twilight honestly did not know why she was bullied by the other students. She was cute, but she wasn't popular with the other students. Is it because I'm nerdy? Twilight wondered. A sigh had escaped through her lips and she regretted it immediately. She started to run to the empty hallway that had her locker with her hand over her mouth. Despite what the other students thought, Twilight was truly frightened of Principal Cinch.

Principal Cinch was stronger and older than her and whatever she say goes, right? Twilight was used to being degraded by her peers, but seeing Principal Cinch made her stomach twist and turn so violently that Twilight always suffers from bile in her throat just by being near Principal Cinch. Twilight nursed her arm after her last encounter with the woman. She has no reason being a principal! Twilight thought, fearfully. The fingerprints on her arm that she kept hidden with her hand would be believed to be something from another person, so Twilight always wear long sleeves because of Principal Cinch's abuse.

Twilight didn't understand why Principal Cinch abuses her and only her. Was she really that weak? Twilight felt tears welling up in her eyes. She stopped bringing Spike with her to school because of her and Principal Cinch's increased "interactions", but now, she wished that she had brought the cute and sweet purple puppy with her. Spike could always calm her down during her extreme stressed out situations. Twilight was only 16 years old and yet, dealing with Principal Cinch makes her seem much younger than she actually was. She felt like she was a weak, defenseless child when in Principal Cinch's over towering shadow. Principal Cinch enjoyed power a bit too much and Twilight could see that, especially when Principal Cinch takes glee in the fact that Twilight is too shy to even stop her. As much as Twilight wanted to hate Principal Cinch, she couldn't. Instead, she hated herself.

All of the sudden, blood came out like a small trickle. Twilight had cut herself with a sharp art tool, but she didn't use the box-cutter, she used the retractable razor that she had "borrowed" after a incident with Principal Cinch. Twilight had cut her arm a little, however, she stopped the bleeding because she didn't want the new cut to get infected. She cleaned her injury up and she curled up into a ball into the science lab that was given to her. It was nighttime that the moment. Twilight rarely goes home because she always had to do work for her teachers, but really, she had to finish other students' homework. She doesn't know why the other students can just ask their friends for help, but no, they come to her and demand that she "get it done or else". Despite the fact that students' threats don't scare her as badly as they did before, she is always reminded of Principal Cinch's look of glee before hurting her. Twilight shook her head to try to clear her head of any negative thoughts so she could sleep without nightmares. Her plan failed as she had a very long nightmare about Principal Cinch hurting her even worse than before.

The next morning, Twilight woke up to see Principal Cinch. She gave a start and then it was revealed that it was actually Dean Cadance. "Twilight, it's me. It's me." She reassures Twilight. Twilight leaped into her waiting arms and the Dean hugged her.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Dean Cadance was floored by Twilight's apologies. She had nothing to apologize about! She was only a child! Dean Cadance couldn't believe her eyes when she had first seen Twilight close herself up
"Don't you dare apologize! It's not your fault!" She tells Twilight. Twilight was openly sobbing by now. She felt pathetic and weak. Twilight stayed in the Dean's soft and gentle hold. Dean Cadance secretly wanted to send Twilight to Canterlot High School because that school is sure a hell of a lot better choice for Twilight and Twilight really looked liked she needs the escape.

"What should I do? No one enjoys my company except you." Twilight tells Dean Cadance. The Dean gazed over at Twilight. All she needs is one, good, reliable listener. She thought.

"What you need to do is find a person that would listen to you without adding their input without asking. You need a friend, Twilight." Dean Cadance tells Twilight. Twilight panicked at that. She doesn't even know how to attract people to her and yet, she would have to befriend someone.

"It's not that easy. I'm a bookworm. Who will listen to me?" Twilight asked Dean Cadance. Dean Cadance placed her hand on Twilight's cheek and she smiled down at her.

"I'm sure you will find the one friend that will listen to you." She gave her positive quarter for the day and Twilight smiled shyly at her.

"I will hold you to your words." Twilight tells Dean Cadance. Dean Cadance grins at Twilight.

"Go to Canterlot High School after school. They have many friendly students there." She tells Twilight. Twilight nodded her head and she decided to face the day with no determination. Twilight was prepared to have someone throw things at her, but even that didn't seem to please her other peers at the moment. Twilight was shocked by the fact that no one was throwing things at her.
