When Button Mash is forced by his mother to attend a slumber party with the Cutie Mark Crusaders, he is very much against the idea. However, he has no choice but to make this one sacrifice if he wants to get his precious JoyBoy back.
Thankfully for him, it all turns out to be better than he expected... until it comes to the 'Truth' part of 'Truth or Dare.'
As a result of this, Button's greatest secret comes to light — but it's not the one the Crusaders were expecting to hear...

Somehow, Button having a crush on a teacher doesn't surprise me that much. Feel bad for Sweetie Belle though. (Daring him to get one of Winona's toys when she doesn't have one is just plain mean, man.) This story needs an epilogue or a follow-up or something of the like (but I liked it anyway

I just wanted to do a lighthearted funny little story full of shenanigans. It's a lot of fun to write Button, mainly because he is such a goof ball.

Meh, giving this a like for comedy and ponies being in character. 
The story resolved itself too quickly for it to be any good. I mean, you literally wrote 2,000 words so that you could have Button say, "I'm in love with Cheerilee."
And that's it. Nothing more.
You didn't even do the sleepover well. You could have had a great buildup filled with Button and Sweetie having awkward moments to convince us that his secret was that he liked Sweetie.
But you didn't.
Overall, a rather boring and pointless read. It wasn't even funny.
I honestly expected better.

Not a bad reading I'll keep it around me. I like these type of stories I can read quickly and enjoy it.
Honestly, it wasn't that bad. However, it also wasn't that good. The ending is what disappointed me the most, because it felt extremely anti-climactic. I was sitting there waiting for something to happen after the big reveal, but that really was it. Nothing else happened after that moment, so it felt like a joke without a punchline. I mean, the parts up to that were well written and pretty funny (on second thought, it's actually a bit sad that the Smarty Pants part was more funny than the main joke this story was built around), but the ending was just so abrupt that it took away a bit of the enjoyment.
