Twilight's been dissatisfied with Spike's literary skills as of late, thus casuing her to give Spike a journal. He's not amused, but what can he do?

No matter how much he dislikes the thing, it's his duty to write in it whenever something of note happens. Little does he know that some very interesting stuff is to come...

An observation of what Spike could have wrote in such a book, covering all 26 episodes of Season 1. Also contains some pages from the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

(NOTE:This story was written when I was ten, but please don't let you turn that off! I think that the sequel, Spike's Journal 2, is better, but I am proud that I was able to gain so many likes at such an age. Enjoy!)

Lucid Storm imagines a world beyond death, where no pony will ever need to truly say goodbye to the ones they love. When all the magic and medicine of Equestria failed one young Sweetie Belle, he proposed a radical new technique--total brain recording, taken minutes before her death.

Years have passed since that day, years spent scrounging the funding for a body and experimenting with many failed machine intelligence models before tinkerer ponies all around equestria finally came together in the perfect synthesis.

After all this time, Sweetie Belle will finally have her second chance.

It's been said before that robots dream of electronic sheep, of course this is assuming that robots, indeed, dream at all. What if robots don't dream? What if sleeping for them is just a blank expanse? The real question is what do robots do in those precious seconds between the blackness of powerlessness and the slow plodding along of living interactions. What will Sweetie Bot think about during today's reboot?

Applejack. For too long, that has been the only thought in Rarity's head. Finally, she will go all out to find out if the mare she cares for could ever return her feelings. The stage is set. The night is planned. Even the cutie mark crusaders will not be able to mess this up for her.
...Or so she thinks.
When Scootaloo is injured, and a certain secret revealed, the element of generosity is put to the test.

Something very odd is happening to Sweetie Belle. First, her magic is powerful and uncontrollable all of a sudden. Second, old scars that disappeared years ago have come back. Third, her mane and tail are waving like the princesses' do. Confused, everypony goes to investigate. They may find that there's a lot more to this filly than they thought.

Sweetie Belle has a long record of little "accidents." It seems like everything she does just ends in disaster. After another little accident sparks a fight with Rarity, Sweetie is left to wonder if she really is cursed. Is there anypony to convince her otherwise?

The Firework Lotus Celebration, a grand festival which celebrates the dawn of a new year, is a tradition held near and dear to Spike's heart. But when the winds of change threaten to take this special time away from him, Spike is forced to make a difficult decision. Which is more important: what he knows to be right, or what he feels to be right?

And as Spike soon discovers, it's a choice best made with the help of some friends.
