Peter wakes up one day on his 20th birth day to find his life going wrong. Very wrong. He doesn't know how or why, but his friends are slowly turning into ponies after finding that they have cutie marks. However, his body decides to go in a different direction. Can he and his friends reverse the change? Or are they caught up with forces too powerful for them to understand?

So when a German brony starts to turn into a pony on his twenty-fifth birthday, he doesn't just panic. There are more important things to do, after all, like learning magic spells, meeting new people and ponies... and singing.

Gayle is a fitness nut. Steve is a professional layabout. Gayle is super motivated, Steve is super not. The two are an unlikely pair of roommates, a real life odd couple. While they're such opposites, they're also an unlikely pair of firm, if antagonistic, friends. They also share a special birthday...

So of course, things get interesting, as things are wont to do in stories. On their 25th birthdays, they start noticing... changes. Are those wings Gayle is sprouting, and is that a beak? Is Steve growing a horn on his head... but losing a "horn" somewhere else? Why do the names Gilda and Lazy Bones sound familiar? Time to get the hell out of Dodge! In their quest to find a safe haven they'll stumble across a certain pair of twin brothers and a whole motley crew of other Equestrian castaways in what might be the most bizarre road trip ever! Of all time! And is that love blooming between our intrepid heroes?

As he reclaimed his rightful throne, Discord banished anypony who could stop him to a dimensional backwater. His victory was all but assured... but that's what he'd thought last time. This time around, he included a little insurance. Now one Stanley Baxter must struggle against the machinations of a mad god, the caprice of chaos magic, and the increasing instability of his her his own mind.

Imagine this if you will: You wake up on your twenty fifth birthday (after a night of heavy drinking) to find that you have a tattoo on both of your thighs. You think "God my friends are assholes for letting me do this" But then you realize that you're a part of something big. REALLY big.

You start turning into a pastel coloured equine who has a affinity for DJing even though you've never touched a turntable in your life.

Oh and just to twist the knife even further: Your friend keeps coming on to you even though they don't know why.

God I miss hands.

I consider myself a lucky guy. Good job, good family, and best of all, really, really good friends. We call ourselves MMPD, and together we've had tons of crazy adventures, helped one another discover ourselves, and always have had a good time. It's a shame we've drifted apart since high school, but at least we get to see each other once a year on our shared birthdays.

That tradition turned out to be a lifesaver, because as my friends and I just found out… well, let’s just say we’ve known each other a lot longer than we thought. Now we’ve gotta find a way back home, and hopefully we won't drive each other nuts along the way. We know we’re not the big heroes, and we’re all in WAY over our heads, but hopefully we can do enough to make a difference in the end. If we can do that, then I know we’ll have made our families proud.

I just wish we still had our capes.

This story is a sequel to Dust on the Wind

The year is 2045 and mankind has taken to the stars. With colonies on mars and the moon, we’ve left the cradle of Earth behind.

It’s been 25 years since the ponies first appeared on earth. 25 Years since the fall of Discord. I was born June first, 2020. The day of the invasion, the day the ponies took back what was theirs. The day Equestria was freed, and I am the last. The last of the 5 score ponies, the last one cursed, and the Last to change.

And this is my story.
