Most people believe that dying is a painful act and I can't entirely disagree. It definitely wasn't a picnic but the physical pain I endured paled in comparison to the hurt in my heart. Watching as someone I loved and trusted killed me. Someone I always felt safe round, who'd protect me. Even now, in a place between the living world and the realm of the dead the aching pain I feel is worse then all the cuts and broken bones I had. Oh dear reader I beg you. Lawful Crane and his girlfriend Pearl Lane happen to be in town during Anon-a-Miss' reign of terror in Canterlot High. Crane, being a skilled detective, is easily able to determine that Sunset Shimmer is being framed. Having devoted his life to protecting the innocent and punishing the guilty, he decides to expose the true Anon-a-Miss as an invisible avenger known as The Shadow. Through the use of a mysterious hypnotic power he learned in the far East, he is able to cloud other people's minds so they cannot see him, rendering him invisible.

It had been a year since Hazelnut Latte and her younger sister/sort-of-adopted-daughter, Cocoa Jinx, came to Ponyville. She came for a fresh start and a good, wholesome place to raise her sister, but things get complicated. Balancing single parenthood and a job wasn't always easy, but things got more complicated when she also has to deal with a fire and brimstone lunatic, six ponies with various issues, bizarre business regulations, and every bit of strangeness that Ponyville can throw at her. To top that, she has to deal with everypony else's relationship problems and is so busy that she can barely handle her own. Fortunately, they don't always need her help and sometimes manage to find their way on their own.

Rated T for language, discussions of the adult nature, implied sex, drug use, and gratuitous innuendo.

Is life really like a box of chocolates? Life is actually more like a hot apple pie to the face. Or like that coppery taste a pony gets in their mouth after getting struck by lightening when everything smells like ozone. Will everyone survive the sleepover? Sunny Day is pretty happy with her life. She finally has the command she worked so hard for, and the view from atop her wall is amazing. It’s everything she wanted, but many ponies still view her as immature and wild. What more does she have to do to prove her worth and show them all she’s as serious as anypony else?

Elsewhere in Canterlot, Azurite used to be happy with her life. The tragedy that occurred during the recent Summer Sun Celebration changed everything, and now she’s struggling to get her hooves moving in the right direction again. All she wants to do is help other ponies like they’ve helped her, but her own fears keep getting in the way.

The paths before these two mares rarely touch, and yet wind closer together than either will ever know. Achieving their goals will ultimately rely on learning the same lesson: sometimes you just have to believe in yourself.

This story takes place between Sunny's Days and Three of Hearts. Knowledge of either is not required to enjoy the story but will add clarity.

She is given six rocks that are supposed to save Equestria, but Twilight doesn't see how six rocks can do that, since they are just that: rocks.
