After the Friendship Games, Sunset feels it's time to return home.

Only when she gets there, Twilight's castle is nowhere to be found, Cadance just got her horn, and Princess Celestia is still calling the bacon-haired pony her prized student rather than a failed one. And just reliving her past isn't on the table thanks to a pair of wings Sunset seems to have sprouted upon her return to Equestria.

With Sunset being back before she's supposed to, will the world stay as harmonious and on track, or will everything go down in flames as Sunset has to deal with allegations that she's really a changeling in disguise, a nerdy stallion with blue hair that wants to be her coltfriend, a pretty pink princess in need of remedial magic lessons, and an annoying purple pre-teen pony that will absolutely not go to bed without first being read Starswirl's Complete Mystical Mysteries Compendium?

Night Sky has a good home, great friends, and a loving family. His position as an astronomer for the University of Canterlot is everything he could hope for... except for the feeling that his job is limited by the light pollution that surrounds the Equestrian capitol.

So when Princess Luna commissions for an observatory to be built in the nearby village of Ponyville, away from the lights of the city, and he is offered a position at the new facility, Sky jumps at the chance. He packs his things and prepares to move onto the next step in his life. Ponyville, a place where he can be left alone with his telescopes and the stars he loves so much. His plan is to quickly settle into his new home, no distractions. What he doesn't plan for is the craziness that is Ponyville to stop him. Or his new neighbors, who seem intent on taking him along for the ride. Or the angry drakon that seems intent on razing the town...

Guess stargazing will have to wait.

He dares not move as he knows what's coming if he does. With only his knowledge of MLP:FIM and the memories of the clone he now inhabits he has to find a way to stay, while keeping the real Pinkie Pie out of danger as well.

As far as demons go, Morpheus is fairly standard. He plays tricks on your dreams, perhaps drives one or two mortals mad... but when a demon is summoned with their True Name, they are spiritually bound to obey their summoner. Usually this is not a problem, as it's usually something fun that Morpheus can get behind. Sabotage, assassination, diabolical masterminding... actions with consequences that will damn his summoner for all eternity. This time, though, he meets a creature so colourful and innocent-looking, he's almost insulted.

She'll give him the order to begin World Domination, right?
