The Griffin Kingdom prepares an invasion on Equestria, and when the Wonderbolts are incapacitated by two griffin aces, a group of pegasus ponies, assembled by Firefly, becomes the land's main aerial defense force, supporting each other in the hardest of times. It's a story of revenge, friendship, sadness, struggles and sacrifices, a war which will change the lives of many a pony and griffon...

This is the first story of the mini-series "Ace Combat: Equestria Chronicles". The story takes place some time after the second season of the show.
It is not a direct adaptation of any Ace Combat game, but it contains elements and references to the following games:
- Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies
- Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War
- Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War
- Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation
- Ace Combat: Assault Horizon

The "sad" parts occur every now and then, especially after chapter 9.

Twilight Sparkle's wildest dreams have just been met, and exceeded. Due to an unexpected magical outburst during her entrance exam to Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, the Solar Princess herself took an interest and took Twilight on as her personal student.

This was a pleasant shock for Twilight and her family. However, a few months later, a less pleasant shock would reach Twilight in the form of Celestia returning to Canterlot with a new daughter, a freshly adopted pegasus filly named Rainbow Dash. As the two get to know each other, Twilight can clearly see something eating at the self absorbed and competitive filly's mind.

To make matters even more confusing, Princess Celestia is now hiding something. Twilight dares not question it, but it is quite clear that Celestia isn't being wholly open with anypony about her decision to adopt some random orphan.

Could the answers have something to do with the cryptic dream Twilight had the night before she met Rainbow Dash?

When Twilight Sparkle slipped beneath the covers last night, everything had been fine. She had friends whom she loved, a teacher she adored, and a bright future ahead of her. But when she woke up, her blankets and quilts had been replaced by hospital gowns and padded restraints.

Everything is wrong and nothing makes sense; even her friends have changed. The doctors keep telling her that she is sick, that none of it was real and that it was all in her head. Yet she remembers a life far beyond the hospital walls. She couldn't have made it all up on her own. They must be lying… right?

He was expendable, they thought. There was no honor, no code of morals, no sense of team. Soarin wasn't going to stand around and be treated like this, he was going to stand up for himself the only way Spitfire would understand: Leaving the Wonderbolts behind.

Now teamless, Soarin decides to run home to the only pony in Equestria that would never leave him in the dust; His little sister, Nightshade, captain of the rival team, the Shadowbolts.

A co-written project by Uria the Sacred Beast and myself! An alternate take on the ending of "Rainbow Falls" in which Soarin decides that an "I'm sorry" from his neglectful captain and teammate just isn't enough.

Rainbow Dash graduates from the Wonderbolt Academy. After many weeks of training, she falls in love with Soarin, her instructor. However, when war breaks out and the Wonderbolts have to join the Equestrian Royal Army, Rainbow Dash and Soarin's love for each other and their loyalty for their kingdom are tested.

This story was inspired by the song Violet Hill by Coldplay, as well as the rest of the Viva La Vida album. It takes place after the Wonderbolt Academy episode, not including Alicorn Twilight Sparkle or anything after season 3. Rated teen for a few suggestive jokes and moments of intimacy, but nothing mature.

Since Princess Twilight's coronation, the Royal Council have insisted that she be tied to a Canterlot noble, so as not to lose their hold over the lands south of Canterlot.

What was the deity that decided that this would be his new fate? All he knows for sure is his new name, Mythic Light and he is the son of Princess Celestia, ruler of Equestria

Set after the events of Twilights Kingdom, Princess Celestia found a special stallion to be with however they were taken by forces beyond either of their control, but after his death Celestia realised that she is now carrying his foal. Months later she gives birth to a Alicorn prince that she swears she will protect with every fibre of her being.
