Lyra Heartstrings, a well renown and skilled linguist and archaeologist at ‘Celesta’s Institute for Gifted Ponies', or as it's known more commonly, ‘Canterlot University’. She has a good job, a good life. Only she is dragged into something bigger by one of her old friends, Feather Duster.

He had been ostracised not too long ago for his newfound and outlandish believes. Only his incessant requests for her help have swayed her into helping him. Only, what he brings her intrigues her. She want's to find out more.

Lyra holds the belief that history is not what's important, not who's important, it's only what we remember.

That begs the question... What could we have forgotten?

Is tyranny a fair price for peace? The death of an entire species is a tolerable loss for the survival of another? Is there such thing as a superior species? Is freedom of though really the source of all evil?

When a stranger appears in front of Celestia to tell her about the trials against her, everything will change. Beyond good, beyond evil, a judgement will fall and justice will be done.

Boring life. Boring job. Boring friends. Would I trade it all away for a new life in a new world?

With only his pack and his experience as a Boy Scout to aid him, he must survive, make sense of his surroundings and with some luck, ultimately find his way home. Hollow Shades is a small farming and lumberjacking community, a tiny bubble of Equestria existing on the edge of the Everfree Forest. Things have been hard-going since the lumber mill was closed down and the town is slowly dying out. A young filly named Corn Crib however might have found a solution when she makes a bargin with a talking scarecrow she meets along the road. But who is Lord Barleycorn, and how can he possibly breath life back into Hollow Shades?

This is a lighthearted story that contains lots of OCs outside of Ponyville. The mane six will appear, but not until later chapters.

A decade in passing and Kaz has gained a reputation as a member of a well-known group of explorers traveling the world. Not once have they set foot on Equestrian soil, and she was content to keep it that way, for her appearance would bring about unwanted attention from a few certain ponies and one certain baby dragon. So what happens when the rest of the group hears of unbelievable tales of Equestria, and decide that it's time they paid a visit?

An impending disaster, that's what.

Celestia has finally found her eternal partner in love. Twilight Sparkle, Element of Magic, savior of Equestria, and co-ruler of the nation. Celestia feels nothing but pride and love for her student, friend, and lover. However, a secret remains hidden in her heart, hidden from herself. Why did she choose Twilight, of all ponies, to be her student?

Unfortunately for her, Discord knows the answer all too well.
