Ten long years have passed since the Book of Darkness Incident. In those ten years, Equestria has come into its own as an allied world with the Time-Space Administration Bureau. Though diplomatic interactions between the two are still rocky, cultural, technological and academic sharing has helped to smooth over the bumpy relations to some degree.

In an attempt to foster better relations between the two worlds, the Bureau has established a special joint training task-force, bringing on some of the brightest and most talented mages in all of Equestria. A group of young humans, ponies, and... others have been selected as candidates for this new, experimental group.

Unfortunately for the humans and ponies of the Resolution Instructional Operations Task Force, things are not all they seem. A new threat is brewing; one that may destroy the fragile peace the Bureau has long sought to maintain... and dredge up secrets of a past long, long forgotten.

Twilight Sparkle, as everypony knows, is a magical pony by nature and profession. However, even she is confused when she encounters a mysterious ferret and an equally mysterious jewel. Forced into conflict by a monster attack, Twilight releases the power of the jewel, summoning the device known as Raising Heart.
Tasked with the retreival of a set of mysterious artifacts known as the Jewel Seeds, Twilight and her friends face an entirely new set of challenges. Unbeknownst to them, however, forces outside of Equestria are moving to claim the very same artifacts they now hunt.

It was a simple question: could the Mirror Portal be used to travel to dimensions other than the one that held Canterlot High?

But as we all know, simple questions can spiral into grand adventures — especially when Twilight and her friends find themselves in a whole new place with a brand new attitude.

Having been turned into denizens of this world, the group partakes in many misadventures.

I realized that most of my stories are rather serious, so I wanted to write something more light-hearted.

Sunny Starscout and her friends have achieved what many viewed as impossible, return magic to the land of Equestria. With its restoration, she heralds the reunification of the tribes and the rebirth of harmony in the world.

An old dragon witnesses this coming of a new age of friendship with a renewed sense of hope.

However, his friend is not so sure.

Through his early life, Harry Potter wasn't even sure what his name was. And once he was sure, he shortly became sure it was wrong- that there was something very, very different about him.

About her, actually, to hay with biology.

He never told the Dursleys. Just like he never told them the friend he made at school was magical. Then of course, right when Hogwarts was getting ready to address first-year letters, the pulse of magic it generated to build the list of potential first-years met with Harry's determination, and that of a few others, and gave them some very unique opportunities to change their situations.

This story is actually a rewrite, believe it or not. The original version was a straight-up girl-harry story, and HP-only, so it never reached this site. It got stuck after just a few chapters, and has sat for months on "writer's block". And then, I got this idea, which made it into a crossover- and I believe it is a unique twist in the world of HP/MLP crossovers.

And if you're wondering why it was published with two chapters, that's because there are no ponies in chapter one. It went live with the first chapter on my Patreon, where my patrons have early access to future chapters.

Note that, even though I expect many of the same OCs to appear, this story is NOT connected to my other HP/MLP crossover, On the Implications of Parallel Worlds, in any way.

A new school year and hopefully a quieter one for Scootaloo and the Crusaders. Yeah, like that was ever going to be the case. Before it's even started Scootaloo's already been cut off from Equestria, been attacked by a desk, staged a daring prison rescue and thwarted whatever dastardly scheme Lucius Malfoy was concocting this time. Part of her is actually looking forward to going back to school. As long as they haven't hired another psychopathic nutjob as the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher.
