Long time ago, during Fausticorns rule, Fausticorn the queen of the land, took care of many children that would later take part of history. One of them is a unicorn by the name of King Sombra. We will get to know about this sad unicorns backstory and life, and why he became the way he is today.

Well it's not actually a sequel. Here is a collection of short stories and histories detailing the life of Alternia, a changeling queen impersonating the life of Princess Celestia. These are the stories of the ruler under her mask.

Reading the main story: Princess Celestia: The Changeling Queen is a requirement if you don't want to be spoiled or confused. I will try to provide background information when I can.

For readers of the main story, there are basically no spoilers if you've read past chapter 8. Enjoy!

At the Royal Wedding, Chrysalis and the Changelings were revealed to all of Equestria.

But another mask was torn away that day. A mask born for a thousand years. A mask created on one promise. A mask, that has become synonymous, fused, to its bearer.

A mask that when ripped off, causes Twilight, her friends and Luna to question everything they ever knew about the one pony, one very important pony.

At the Royal Wedding, the meaning of the phrase 'Princess Celestia' changes forever.

NOTE: Chrysalis is NOT Celestia!!! That'd be impossible to pull off.

So much has happened in the past year. Friends have been made, battles have been fought, and love has bloomed. Love and Family: It has been months into Soarin' and Twilight's relationship, and everyday Soarin' finds himself loving her more and more, but dating a Wonderbolt has a cost. It means missed dates and late dinners, and now Soarin' can't help but feel that his absence is slowly breaking Twilight's heart. Will he be able to show Twilight his undying love for her and will he be able to convince Twilight's father to trust him?

To be a Parent: Soarin' had been married to Twilight for almost a year now. He is now living in the Library with Twilight and he hasn't been happier. Until one day they find out that there is going be an addition to the family and they were going to be a parents. Leaving Twilight wondering if she is ready to be a mother and if Soarin' is ready to be a father. With the help and their friends and family, a library of books, and the knowledge that they love their foals they start the journey of parenting.

What Makes a Parent: What does it mean to be a Mother? A father? Is it simply raising a foal or something more? Is loving a foal enough to be a good parent? Soarin' and Twilight ask themselves these questions. When Soarin' is confronted by his past; is he ready face it? And can he forgive, or are there offences that are unforgivable?
