Hey, everyone. OtterMatt here. Just for the record, I’m not coming back to FimFic. Not ever. I’m sorry to say it, but my life has moved on, as it were, and writing just isn’t a part of it anymore. That being said, I love these stories of mine very much. There’s a lot of myself that I put into them, and at least a couple people have told me that these stories meant a lot to them as well. So, for those people, and for anyone else who enjoys my work in the future, I’m charging my friend Spabble here with curating my completed stories. After being coerced by Sweetie Belle to use a real Hearth’s Warming tree, Rarity finds herself to be in quite the dilemma. Because of how late in the season it is, there aren’t any Hearth’s Warming trees left in town to be sold. Frustrated, Rarity vents to her friends during their weekly lunch date. Unfortunately for her, all of her friends are busy, and are unable to help her with her problem. Applejack, wanting to help suggests enlisting the help of her older brother Big Macintosh to help Rarity get her Hearth’s Warming tree. Spending the day with each other, the fashionista and the draft horse soon develop a friendship.

As the holidays approach, could this newly formed friendship turn into something greater?

So, where do you go when you make a mistake? Like, a really big mistake? Like, a smash your life with a hammer, lose all your friends, and almost die mistake? You know, the types of mistakes that lead to you waking up in a hospital bed with more pain than you thought possible. Where do you go when you make that type of mistake? My name's Sweetie, and right now, I wish I knew the answer.

Pinkie doesn't tell ponies about Pinkamena and Surprise. The doctors said that they were bad for her, that they were a disease, but she disagrees. Sure, Pinkamena's a bit of a grumpy-pants, but she's still a great friend! She's often the voice of reason to counter-act some of the other two's crazier ideas, after all. Surprise, on the other hand, is a great prank-player, and always up for some fun. She's more like Pinkie, only more hyper. Both are great fun to be around, and they get on well.

Thing is, she knows that if she told ponies about them, then they would be dragged back to the hospital. And then be 'treated' again. None of them want that. Because of this, not even her best not-in-head friends know about them. The three of them have, for years now, been careful enough to keep the existence of Pinkamena and Surprise secret.

This has, of course, gone out the window now that Twilight is hammering on the door after overhearing one third of a conversation, with no sign of anyone else talking.

Hints of F/F shipping inside. Nothing will actually come of it here, though. Maybe in a future story.

Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle have been accidentally locked in a vault in the Royal Canterlot Bank. With the vault soundproof, windowless, and immune to magic and even Pinkie’s methods of… Pinkie-ness, they cannot escape for several hours. They use this time for shenanigans and introspection.

A ski trip promises to be a fun and exciting vacation for Sunset Shimmer and her friends. But when the girls are caught in a blizzard, the house they find to shelter them might not be as benevolent as it appears.

Celestia has been waiting for this night her entire life; Twilight Sparkle has been destined to come for years upon decades upon centuries. But she didn't know to expect her student like this.

She steels herself anyway. She pours some tea, and welcomes Twilight with open hooves.

Then the two of them have a talk.

Only a few hours after she learned of the Griffon Empire's invasion, Princess Celestia surrendered herself to the griffon army and asked for an audience with the Griffon Emperor.

The Emperor thinks she's here to negotiate Equestria's surrender.

He's wrong.
