The beach is a wonderful place. More than anything else, it's the getaway to end all getaways: a chance to drink in the sun and the surf and lose track of the outside world. And for two ponies looking to get away from different things, it's a nice little pocket of paradise. For a time, anyway.

Hey, everyone. OtterMatt here. Just for the record, I’m not coming back to FimFic. Not ever. I’m sorry to say it, but my life has moved on, as it were, and writing just isn’t a part of it anymore. When Rarity writes to Princess Celestia inquiring after how dragons age, she gets a plea for help in reply. A war is brewing, and Princess Celestia thinks Rarity's the one to stop it.
