Twilight Sparkle and her friends are snowed into the library one evening, and they happen upon that rarest of specimens - a book Twilight doesn't recognise. However, the ancient tale of adventure and intrigue they find inside ends up shattering their worldview and sending them on an adventure of their own.

This is basically what came to my mind when I heard that Lauren Faust's original concept for the show was of a more arc-based, magical girl style (this turned out not to be true, but my mind ran with it anyway), but this story ended up a long way from magical girls and well into high fantasy by the time I started writing. Also draws on select Homestuck and Dungeons & Dragons themes, and plays with a lot of things the canon leaves unexplained.

Tag update: Reduced character tags to Mane 6, CMC, Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash. While the Mane 6 and CMC provide most of the ensemble cast, Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash are the primary viewpoint characters.

Vinyl Scratch lives to feel free! She feels trapped in society and the bland routine of every day life. She discovers that graffiti art gives her the same sense of freedom and danger that her music does. With a troubled past she longs for this feeling, doing almost anything in her power to grasp it. Even tough the activity is considered illegal she still finds herself in the streets every night after dark, tagging long abandoned buildings, feeling like she's leaving her mark for everypony to see. After deciding to try and tag one of the biggest buildings in Canterlot she gets caught again, this time facing severe punishment.

But when she discovers who the pony that lives in the building she painted is, she concocts a devious plan to get herself out of the trouble shes in.

She's willing to try anything to get back out on the streets!

Authors notes: Light comedy, nothing to cause any ROFLing. This is my first official fic and I really hope you enjoy! I am looking for someone to edit for me and would be very grateful to whoever wants to help! That being said if you have any tips for me and my story please comment or message me with them! The story of Ignatius and Aquinas continues here. It has been a long three months since Ignatius has been gone, and during that time, things have went from bad to worse. Riots and protests in the streets of Canterlot. The Gryphon Empire's advances on Equestrian interests have become an increasing problem. Not to mention that there has been word of the Zebra Kingdom being engaged in a rebel uprising, and talk of a similar happening will occur on Equestrian soil. The future is not looking bright for Princess Celestia. Little does she know, the two brothers she has taken from another plain of existence have not only dealt with similar problems back home, but also poses the knowledge and skill to overcome them. Together, they can set this un-restful nation back on track.

It's time for the brothers to go to work.

Prequel: Metal Ringing

Two military brothers find themselves in Equestria after Twilight Sparkle and Princess Celestia try an experiment together. It ends up with the two finding themselves in the land that they have only been able to dream of being in. However, the world that they have stepped into is quite ascue from what they have come to know and love about the land. First off, the inhabitants of this land are not ponies, but humans. Second, the time they have come into is ten years before Nightmare Moon's return. Third, disharmony is a sad reality in this point of Equestrian history. The greed of the Canterlot elite and the new Griffin King's lust for power is slowly turning Equestria into a shadow of its former self. Mere chance had brought these two brothers here, and it will soon be apparent that it will be them that turn the tide, and restore the heavenly, peaceful land to it's former glory. To get to heaven though, these two brothers must go through hell. This will only be the beginning of their journey as they learn about their new strengths and abilities, while also taking a journey into themselves.

This is the first story in what will be named the Metal Series.

I read about this creepypasta thing about the origin of the mane 6, which are six girls all die in the same day and according to the creepypasta, inspired the ponies we all know in the show. So, Fluttershy's part is the saddest one, aaaand gives me an idea for another story. Oh, and I sorta make a little changes, names and all, cause I still don't know if I can trust that creepypasta.

This is a spin-off of my first story, Heroes For Equestria. If you didn't read it, read it first. If you do, then you might know who Kay is, AKA, Carlos Eduardo Lopez.
This story brings you before Kay and his friends save Equestria, and before he was sentence to five years in prison. He saved a girl, who he first fell in love.

Vinyl goes to band camp. She meets Octavia, a shy girl. She puts out the effort to get Octavia to talk to her, and a fast friendship forms. After spending a summer together, one of them may be falling in love.
