This is the first story of the mini-series "Ace Combat: Equestria Chronicles". The story takes place some time after the second season of the show.
It is not a direct adaptation of any Ace Combat game, but it contains elements and references to the following games:

- Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War
- Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation
- Ace Combat: Assault Horizon

The "sad" parts occur every now and then, especially after chapter 9.

Scootaloo, after years and years of intense practice, has saved many lives and become an expert flyer and scooterist. However, thing start going south when ghosts of the past begin to haunt her.

Her little sister, Rose Blossom, is completed devoted to her, a parallel of Scootaloo's own former relationship with Rainbow Dash. Although, Rose Blossom isn't quite so hardheaded and stubborn as Scootaloo was.

Rose Blossom gets to take the wheel of the narrative as both her and Scootaloo deal with their own struggles and difficulties.

Twilight Sparkle thought that she had felt all that happiness could offer. She had perfect friends, an amazing mentor, and even became part of the Princess monarchy. She was as happy as she could be.

Until one day the news came...

Princess Twilight Sparkle was going to be a mother. And she never knew just how beautiful being a mother could be.

This fic was inspired by the picture, and the title came from it as well. The picture and title do not belong to me. I would like to thank Hikariviny for drawing such a wonderful picture. It inspired me to write the single best thing I've ever written. I don't wanna sound modest, but this story is the one that's most likely to be featured out of all of my stories. Luna, Princess of the Night, feels like she's under quarantine in Canterlot. Apart from Celestia and her personal aid, Scrivener Blooms, Luna is treated like Nightmare Moon by the residents of the castle. After a journey to Ponyville, however, Luna takes an interest in attempting to make friends and begins to yearn to see more of the world and to prove that she is back in control of herself and regaining her old strength.

A mix of romance, high fantasy, and magic, the story features the power of friendship, sarcastic wit, and adventure against darkness driven by Luna's brash, courageous spirit.

THIS IS A SIMILAR BUT DIFFERENT UNIVERSE. I wrote this, starting during late Season 2, so I had to make judgment calls based on the information I had. As such, certain episodes thereafter do not match up, or fit in different places. Consequently, it is a very similar alternate universe. Many events happen in both this and the show timeline, but do not always match. I tried to stay consistent when possible, but certain things were lost to disagreements in interpretation. I like how I wrote my story and will not force it to match what came after I started writing. I've also decided to consider this fluidly finished. I still seem to make updates, but I no longer guarantee them.

Sent to the corner three times in one week . . .

Despite getting his cutie mark, Stormy Knight isn't happy. He thought it would change things at school, but he's still made fun of, just for a different reason. Convinced that he's no good, cutie mark or no, he starts believing his own sad thoughts, and it makes him lash out, which only makes everypony at school believe what he believes.

That he's nothing but a bad colt who deserves it.

A sad little one-shot for the naughty kid in school, or the screw-up who never felt loved.

The dialogue without modifiers is more akin to memories than actual dialogue. Sort of like reflections. I hope that helps to clear up any confusion.
