The crowning achievement of Crimson Blaze's life was becoming a Wonderbolt. Years later, he's had a successful career and is captain of his own squad. However, when the Shadowbolts attack, his secret is exposed, and not only might his career be over, but all the friendships he has made.

This is a side fic based in Calm Wind's Wonderverse. The events take place during Piercing the Heavens, beginning at approximately Chapter 86. There's a huge amount of background context there, but hopefully you should be able to enjoy this story if you haven't read that.

One night, Celestia and Luna take a walk in the royal gardens only to find a small alicorn filly. She is solid white except for her cutie mark which consists of the color spectrum in the shape of a flower. Celestia recognizes who this filly is and her importance to the future of a certain kingdom.

Knowing that Canterlot isn't the best place to raise a filly, she entrusts Twilight and her friends to raise her in Ponyville, but keeps the truth about this filly a secret.

A little over a thousand years ago Greymane had gone off in search of a group his predecessors had often taken notice of, during their time they stated that though the group known as The Order of Balance was one that should be watched carefully. Though they had shown promise of being potentially great allies they also stood the chance of corruption. The group had first been spotted by the 45th Greymane and had been under careful watch since.

Feeling that the past five generations of Greymanes had not reported this group going beyond their normal questionable motives. The current Greymane felt that it would be best to engage them and see their strengths and faults, all with the highest of hopes he would have allies he could turn to in the darkest of times. As Greymane and Sabien meet for the first time causing a seemingly endless downward spiral, for both Greymane and The Order of Balance.

Note: This is a side story to Memoirs of a Thief that helps to explain a set of events that are left out of the initial story.

A prince that nopony knew existed, banished for his crimes against the crown long ago, is able to find a way back to Equestria. What follows is a tale of lies, deception, and murder, and that's just the beginning.

This evil prince finds out just what awaits him due to his brash, unthinking ways.
