The thing is that recently I received a fairly bad new. It struck me very bad. Bad enough to put all of my stories on hiatus. Since then I haven't written anything, till today. Let's see if the old horse can ride again.

Please show no mercy on the comments. Compassion is good for the broken, but it's through the strongest fire that steel is best forged (or something like that, I'm not good at translations).

These are some of the titles many have bestowed on the virtuoso, Octavia Melody. Through countless hours of practice and studying, Octavia had become the most renowned musician in Equestria. With an abundance of fame and fortune, it seemed like she lived the perfect life. However, Octavia has lately been feeling that something is missing from her music.

A seemingly normal trip to Ponyville changes everything when she hears the sound of a fiddle. Following the music, Octavia arrives at an apple orchard. What she finds would possibly help her make her music whole again. As well as so much more.

This story takes place within Season 2 with a few elements from Season 3 mixed in.

A year has passed since the events of "Magic Duel" and Trixie's career isn't going very well. She decides to swallow her pride and return to the place where she was first humiliated: Ponyville. Rarity, known for her generosity, decides to let her stay in her boutique. They don't get along at first, but after some time, Trixie starts to feel something she never has before.

This fic isn't part of the Magic of Love Trilogy.

Every alicorn has a mirror, meant to hold her if she ever turns upon Equestria in rage and bitterness. She will be safe inside, comforted by the familiar.

Twilight has come to Canterlot to update her own personal prison. While she's there, an old friend wishes to meet her for the very first time.
