My name’s Marcus. Marcus Cortez. I’m currently a freshman at CUFTA. You don’t know what that means? Well, it stands for “Canterlot University for the Arts.” While it is a little unsettling to go to college in a completely different world from my own, and while being a human in a school full of mostly ponies is a little intimidating, I’m doing fine so far. I don’t have to worry about roommates, since I don’t live in a dorm. I live with my aunt.

Her name is Celestia. Princess Celestia.

You’re probably wondering how a human could be the nephew of a pony, and an alicorn princess, no less. Well, it’s quite the story.

In case you haven't guessed yet this is an anthro story, and my first time writing a story in first person, so we'll see how this goes.

The prologue for this story starts sixteen years prior to the return of Nightmare Moon and the story's main events take place after Season 3 ends.

We have traveled across a great distance, not one that can be measured or even fathomed. This place which we now are is one I would call silly, even to this day with much of its true face shown to me. Yet for all that inconsolable childishness there is something else here, something which fills me with dread. I fear that in the time since we arrived choices were made which harmed this world, some of which can never be undone.

All that I may do now is pray, and hope, that Pelor might forgive me for what I have done. For I, a cleric, a savior, a healer, have brought death to this world, to Equestria, and the actions ahead of me are the only ones that might save them. It is for them that I do this, and in the memory of those that are behind me. May my father of mercy grant me guidance, and my friends be at my side, as my tale reaches its end.

It's not every day that a person in the middle of war gets his few moments of respite, but for a veteran blood knight, he gets more than a few moments.

Frigid Drift had always been a pony that kept to herself. She had only ever come out of her shell when trying to stalk her favorite pegasus Rainbow Dash or when working in her job on the winter weather team. But when she decides to answer the call of duty in the Equestrian Air Corps, she is thrown into an adventure that would change her life forever. There's not a lot of things that get to me. One time, I was held at gunpoint by a hoodlum in a grocery store. Then there was this time when I almost got sandwiched between a tractor-trailer and a SUV. At both moments, I was pretty surprised and scared shitless. But this; this whole thing with me waking up in a different body and shit?

I guess I should start out by introducing myself. I'm Justin, and this is how I woke up one day in an alien body.
