Chapter 25 : Twilight Plays Video Games
This chapter was written by a friend who goes by the name Firebirdbtops, and was published as a one shot! I know he doesn't look like much, but he's a great editor turned writer. 
The tone in this Twilight Tale is a little more silly and separate from the rest of the story. It's primary purpose is story filler between the last large event Twilight had, and the next pivotal moment in ATL. If I had the skill, or the determination I would happily write every scene Twilight spends on Earth for everypony's entertainment; but sadly, I do not. So, please accept this much from the both of us!
This side-chapter is canon, also, so keep that in mind. I've made sure you do not need Firebird's story to continue this one, nor the other way around.

Heh, well that is an interesting theory about using magic, but wands aren't really a thing like in Harry Potter. I mean really, that would just be no fun at all if it was that easy.
And what the scientists are referring to would be things like laws of resistance and a few other things we do know about energy. By energy they're referring to electricity.
I'm not going to lie... that picture makes it look like she is getting more than hot over some video games.

Someone probably had already asked this, but I've always wondered where exactly Spike fits in the Madverse. Do you have any plans for him? I have been missing the dragon for a quite some time.

Considering Princess Twilight being adept with magic on top of being the Element of Magic on top of being an alicorn, allowing some OP magic at conclusion/resolution of the story (assuming the Twilight goes back happy ending) is almost obligatory.
That being said, having Twilight fumble with everyday stuff is beautifully entertaining, and I don't mind if it take a long while.

Hard doesn't equal strong, I mean the crystal is so hard that it easily shatters (like glass for an example is nearly as hard as diamond, but easily breaks because it isn't flexible; same could be for the crystal, I mean you wrote 'hard'
And thinking about the power output... a single fusion reactor would probably make these crystals look ridiculous, the fusion reactor which is planned to be build in France is enough to power half of europe
There's only thing I am not sure about: How were these crystals created? I mean, it's not like Twilight has enough magical power to erase an entire city with it.
Got interested in your fic due to skimming through that front page chapter. Got more interested when she said she saw artworks of her friends. Which begs the question if she's put two and two together yet, or if she needs a reminder to put two and two together. That being.... if her world is a work of fiction... then, wouldn't that potentially mean that all worlds are in some way a work of fiction in other realities? And that all works of fictions are actually other realities?

I must apologise for bringing up this sore point again, but even though the image itself is quite PG[-13], the drawn nuances are screaming out what others are picking up on.
For instance, her posture, hand/finger positioning, and pertness indicate excitement of the more... Sensual sort. By themselves, it might have been missed by many who are still quite pure of mind. They'd be possibly even mistaken for an artistic quirk. The inclusion of her facial expressions, however, is what brings it to what it's being read as. The raised eyebrows, slight lip bite, expanded eyelids, intense focus at one point on the screen (of which is generally oftentimes a sensual focal point due to proper balancing), and the slight blushing just flat out scream what is being picked up on. Viewing her face by itself would encourage a far greater-than PG[-13] rating than the image as a whole conveys.

Am I the only one who thinks that Twilight would be good at XCOM, if she got over the whole "killing aliens" thing?
