Vinyl and her wife Octavia are expecting their baby soon. They've waited nine months for the baby to come to terms, but why are things making them wait longer? And why does everything have to be so PAINFUL?

This is my first time writing a fic, let alone a comedy. I'm focusing on being able to "show, not tell." Criticism is welcome. Enjoy!

Until they discovered something that made their minds flip, they found an old photograph of two women that looked strikingly similar to Applejack and Vinyl. What could this mean? The sisters opened an old dairy to find out.

Join the Wild West adventures of two young women, Annabelle “Annie” Apple and Melody Liker as they journey to the hard wild frontier town of Frontier City to stake a claim of gold and become legends. Melody only wanted the women, the gold, and the riches that she could never get at home. But Annie just wanted a new place to make a farm and be herself. But of course fate has different plans for these two women.

The White Unicorn is a legendary hero; a hero that Vinyl is very proud of. The Mistress Strings is a villain, and everyone hates her. When Octavia and Vinyl learn some new things about these legendary rivals, they begin to question everything, even friendship.

It has been ten years since Octavia has seen her mare friend Vinyl Scratch since they parted ways for their careers. But when the cellist meets Vinyl again she noticed something was very off about her. It turned out her fears were true after receiving a call for help from the DJ. Only thing is that seeing Vinyl again just unlocked a hidden trail of a murderer. Octavia must find out who the pony is and what was his motive for hurting Vinyl. But sniffing around might lead to more trouble for both Octavia and Vinyl. She won’t be alone of course, she’ll have old friends helping her including, Lyra Heartstrings, Bonbon, Apple Fritter, Beauty Brass, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle and Ditzy Doo.

Can Octavia and her friends uncover this murderer’s plot in time or will her efforts to save the mare she loved come too late?

It does not take much to know that Octavia and Vinyl are very different ponies. However, most don't realize that they share some similarities. Octavia and Vinyl are both very well known musicians in their field, and for good reason, they both attended the same music school, they both excelled in their studies, they both graduated with Music Theory, and they both share a secret unknown to nearly everypony in Equestria.

Octavia's family owns a restaurant. If you didn't know her family, this would be shocking, it certainly was to one of her classmates ,Vinyl Scratch. Vinyl saw Octavia playing on a small stage in the restaurant while walking home from university, and decided to see what it was about.
Please keep in mind that the name in parenthesis in the chapter names is the point of view that chapter takes place with. Like, chapter one is Octavia's point of view, chapter two is Vinyl's, and etc.

Thanks Muzzle_luvr for helping me out with this. I'd tell you all go to read his stuff, but....they haven't written anything yet. Soooo...just know that they are awesome.

Octavia is what you would call a prude mare. She has certain standards, and won't fraternize with the grunting, babbling buffoons that make up "popular" and outwards ponies. She keeps to herself.

Vinyl is Octavia's complete opposite. She may very well be one of the "popular and outwards" ponies that Octavia has grown to dislike. Or is she?

Differences and similarities are tested to their limits as the two of them start to learn that there is more to the world than their own personal corners of it.
