Rarity gets to know with Rumble's big brother Thunderlane during Rumble's visit at the Carousel Boutique. She then notices that one certain stallion keeps spinning in her thoughts, and decides that she has to do something about it.
Is it even possible for such a lady like Rarity to fall in love with a rough and bad mannered pony like Thunderlane?

Rumble hates Hearts and Hooves day. It's the most boring holiday ever, and does not deserve even a bit of the recognition and attention it gets. Why would you even like it? All you do is hang the paper cut outs (in form of hearts) everywhere and listen to boring lectures at school about the importance of love. How dull!

However, Rumble's opinion of this holiday is about to be turned upside down. For you see, he has never had a marefriend before, never even thought about getting one. He doesn't even consider dating. But he is about to experience just how difficult it can be when you try it yourself — and not just with anypony, no.

His (un)fortunate marefriend is none other than the princess.

Ghosts of the past continue to haunt Cozy Glow in more ways than one. Note: This story can be viewed as a follow up to my earlier stories "Sky Dancer, the First Flying Unicorn", "The Shadow Queen", and "Here I Am" can even be considered an outright prologue to this story. None of these stories are required reading but be warned that this new story has major spoilers for those earlier stories as early as chapter 1.

It first started with Rumble liking Scootaloo, then they started liking each other, then they started dating. Simple as it sounds, this story indicates a lot more happening between the lines.
