Meanwhile, Misty continues her efforts to get Sparky for Opaline and get her Cutie Mark, but is her destiny really to serve to the evil Alicorn Queen? Find out.

One day, Izzy strolls into the Crystal Brighthouse with a mud-covered... thing. Neither she nor her friends know quite what it is, but she is determined to find out. As such, she gets to work on the long, arduous process of restoring the unknown thingamajig. Heck, she might even succeed!

And her friends might regret letting her.

One cloudy evening in rural Virginia, a pony and a human's paths meet on a backroad, will Matt Fredrick help Misty Brightdawn get used to being in a new world and help her get home? Or will all hell break loose? Maybe we'll find out as the story progresses.

While still adjusting to life at the Crystal Brighthouse with her new friends, Misty accidentally makes a very interesting discovery in an old broom closet. It's Senor Butterscotch, a fake unicorn that Izzy made long ago.

Naturally, Misty's curiosity gets the better of her, especially since she has her own fake friend. She decides to ask her fellow unicorn why she made Senor Butterscotch.

Izzy is more than happy to tell the tale of how Senor Butterscotch came to be. But it's a lot sadder than Misty might be expecting.
