The Great War that ravaged the countryside between Equestria and the Changeling Hegemony resulted in the fall of ponykind. The changeling banner now flies over all of Equus, and its pony population have become second class citizens in their own land while the changelings harvest them for love. The evil Queen Chrysalis rules over the newly proclaimed Greater Changelingia with an iron hoof, declaring an age of Pax Chrysalia. To the ponies of Equestria, hope for freedom seems like a distant dream. But even in these dire circumstances, Harmony endures.

This is the story of Nyceris, a changeling garrison officer stationed in Manehatten, and Orchid, an earthpony barista who is just trying to survive in the new order, as they struggle to mend the barrier between pony and changeling in a world becoming increasingly divided.

This fic is set in the world of Equestria at War, a mod for the game Hearts of Iron IV.

They found a portal in a deep cave and went through it, questionable circumstances aside. Now they find themselves in a world full of humans, and with a new queen!

Meet Catherine and her family as they cope with a gaggle of shape-shifting creatures who really do just want to fit in and be loved.

The problem is, Catherine's parents are not very keen on their daughter chosen to be the new Queen of the Changelings.

And the cat has gone missing.

Written for Hey its that Pony for Jinglemas 2023 with the following prompt:

For my jinglemas gift this year, I would like a story about a pair of characters who have to "save" Hearth's Warming.
Characters: I'm not picky about who you choose for this mission, so long as at least one of them is a "villain", former or otherwise.
I find it amusing when an "evil" character needs to be "good".
My definitions of evil and good are very flexible for this. So as long as the first character could be considered an antagonist at one point in time or another, they will fit the bill. Also, their manner of "saving" Hearth's Warming can also be considered to be flexible.
Feel free to toss a third character into the lineup or more if you're feeling it. The choices are whoever you feel will work.
Theme: Comedy preferred, but otherwise you can go nuts with the theme.
Setting can be Equestria Girls or G4:FiM. No Gen 5, I'm just not invested in those characters.

What follows is a letter to a fallen changeling’s mother and father, sent during year 1 of the Changeling-Pony War.

Hi hello y’all. This was just a quick fic I’ve been meaning to write. It is related to my “Canon+” project, which I might explain soon, I’m not sure yet.

This fic was heavily inspired by 1914’s “…And Now a Cross Marks His Place”, itself inspired by a real letter sent to a family during WW1.

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this little thing I wrote.

Chrysalis, queen of the largest Hive in the world. From the outside many thought she had achieved all she had wanted. She won the crown from her other sisters. She was adored by her subjects and was in control of the most powerful Hive that had connections all around the world. But when one of her biggest dreams becomes impossible she struggles to rebound from it. Until some scouts bring forward two infant humans. She decides to nurse them to health until they can travel back to the nearest human settlement. However, life is full of surprises and the Queen begins to grow fond of them and decides to adopt the two to the dismay of her people and her family. Facing a monumental task she struggles with bringing them into a home were they're hated. Hoping that a mother's love will be enough to raise the two.

Note: This story is some-what humanized. The Equestrians are completely human but other species like the changelings retain some non-human characteristics. Such as horns and wings.

Faltic, Restel, and Klaven. Three changelings previously involved with the invasion of Canterlot now find themselves in the bustling city of Manehattan after the failed raid. With Faltic being in need of love, finding a new love subject was no difficult task. However, his latest food source feels... different. Genuine, perhaps? Follow this trio of changelings as they live their scouting life in Manehattan, operating out of the same hotel room, and whatever else may happen!

Shortly after the invasion of Canterlot, a changeling queen appears before the Mane Six. She seems less hostile, though, and more... disappointed and annoyed?

Rove Hummel was in a rut. Every day was the same; wake up, go to school, go home, and go to sleep. What he wouldn't give for something to break up the monotony.

But when he spontaneously turns into a Changeling during Biology Class, he begins to regret ever thinking that.

Rated T for usage of the F-bomb, as well as heavy innuendo, mature themes, and a single instance of off-screen sex. There is also mention of what essentially amounts to a drug in Chapter 21, but none is actually seen or used.
