Equestria and Earth making contact opened up many a unique opportunity. Today we have the chance to chat with the Trailblazers, a crew of spectacular special effects experts. Renowned (and notorious), they have become both ambassadors for their kind and heroes on festival grounds the world over. We meet them at northern Germany's Wacken festival in their tour-bus for the first interview they've ever agreed to.

Once upon a time, ponies didn't use money. They didn't have it. They weren't even aware of the concept. They just traded goods and services, helping each other out and owing each other favors. They built big houses because they felt like it, ate grass because they could, and slept under the stars almost every night. Those were better times, simpler times.

Whatever happened to those times?

Well, one young pegasus mare has just concluded the most extensive research project of her life so far, and she believes she has found the source of the economic evolution that Equestria has gone through.

The answer lies in the gold.

Cinnamon is a pony who is unhappy with his life and when he gets the chance he leaves Equestria to meet and live with humans in the first cultural exchange of it's kind.

How will the ponies of Equestria adapt to modern earth and will earth accept them?

Plants are easy to understand. Humans, not so much. They're complicated, and they barely seem to show emotions. They can't even move their ears! Add to that all the hustle and bustle of college life, and Butterscotch is having a bad time.

At least he's got Francine, who showed him the River Trail: a trail through the woods that's away from people.
