To anyone wondering about my sudden absence... · 6:25pm May 15th, 2019

If I ended up worrying you, I'm very sorry. I'm also sorry to have missed a lot, including the passing of MythrilMoth.
Rest in peace, Moth.

Indeed it is, anyway its been great catching up with you. Thanks for the feedback, this has definitely been helpful in planning out my coming story. If anything you've shown me I still have some things I need to hash out of the coming days before I start writing it.

As for if the Caribou Cows and Stags are the way they are by nature or nurture I now feel I need to reflect on this before I do anything else. They're are great arguments for either and I also need to figure out how I'm going to approach this question in my version of things

Anyway yeah I need to decide now if the caribou cows are that way do to nature or nurture. That being said the answer is probably somewhere in the middle like it is with humans. That being said The Ice Fangs have magical shenanigans like the Stonehooves at work, although in this case on the females so it might not matter as much. How else you think they get females of other races to go along so willingly, kindness would only get them so far.

Just saying, that's kinda contradictory! If the Caribou use magic to make their cows more submissive (and the stags more dominant, while we're on that) it's already not like with humans. Maybe I misunderstood you? From what I gather, it's that eager subbie cows and dom stags are more or less natural to the Caribou species, how that manifests is shaped by nurture (so Ice Fangs are more caring, Stonehooves more sadistic, however that works on the cows—maybe Stonehoof females are also cruel towards females, themselves and othes..?), and magic is used to make other species like the Caribou in general and then mould them further? Is that about right?

I'll need to fix that then the proper name is Valkeria.

As far as warfair though yeah I think I'm going to back off from the Valkeria being the main army and have them be more of a support role. I am still introducing firearms though, but ones based off magic (basically they fire the equivalent of that magic energy beam we see Twilight and some of the other unicorns and alicorns fire from time to time). Anyway you slice it giving a non unicorn the ability to do that and having that capability enmass on the battlefield would be too good to pass up. Whole reasons guns took off they allowed a peasant to kill highly trained elites with only minimal training. That being said I think I need to let go of them using 18th century tactics. Those existed only because guns were so inaccurate back then.

Right here:

Sigurd stepped out into the hallway and was greeted by a pair of his clan’s Valkaria guard who gave him a sharp salute by puffing out their tits at him. The Valkeria guard are an old custom of his clan going back centuries, and consisted of cunts that served as bodyguards, elite strikeforce units, and sexual relief on the battlefield.

As for the Caribou cows: Yeah, that's why I suggest you decide how they work. If it's just a result of how they're treated in Caribou society, then there will have been pushback eventually; even the Ice Fangs mistreat their cows, albeit less extremely as their cousins. If it's a matter of Caribou biology, that would explain why the stags can do whatever they want and the cows cheerfully submit, whether the cruel sadism of the Stonehooves or the 'affectionate' domination of the Ice Fangs.

Moreover, it explains why they pour so much effort into finding ways to corrupt other species, because for them, it's just how males and females work and everyone else is wrong to varying degrees.

And weapons/armour is totally up to you. In the Sombra War timeline, Equestria uses spears, hand-to-hand fighting, and cybernetics. Magic seems to be in pretty much everything ponies create, as seen when their food spoils when Cozy Glow siphons Equestria's magic away.
