He wished for friendship.

He got the throne he’d never cared for and the whole hive to watch over, and now King Thorax must lead his kind into a new era of peace and harmony such as the changelings had never known before. So much is at stake, not just for him or his people, but for the whole world; he cannot allow himself to fail.

1. A Hobby For Roseluck: Contains Roseluck trying to learn a brand-new hobby amidst a crisis. Feels like watching the sun rise in a quiet home.
2. A Different Sky: Contains Pharynx and a young Ocellus learning observation skills. Well, one of them is learning, at least. Also contains Completely True Shrimp Facts™.
3. A Normal Poem about a Normal Pony: Contains a very bad ending, from a certain point of view.
4. Things That Remain: Contains the aftermath of a terrible fire, Raritwi, and the little things worth saving.
5. Her Latest Model: Contains Twilight's adventure as she searches for Rarity in the Carousel Boutique's basement, but finds something far worse. Also contains mentions of death, definitely animal and possibly pony.
6. A Drink for Fluttershy: Contains a dire warning for giving a pegasus too much to drink. Also contains the implication that Twilight may or may not be having an affair with half the library.
7. Unusual Wingspans: Contains Celestia comparing pegasi's wing shapes to birds.
8. Everyday Chaos: Contains Rarity+Twilight+Octavia+Vinyl polyamorous fluff, and a distinct desire for leftover waffles.
9. Somepony stole my car radio and now I just sit in silence: Contains a not-so-quiet moment with Vinyl, traffic, and late-night thoughts.
10. An Honest Pony: Contains mentions of torture, horrible misinterpretation of the Elements of Harmony, and, potentially, a look at a future project.
11. Bon-Bon's Delivery: Contains a meeting, three hours late, and take-out.

Pharynx. A changeling. Older brother of King Thorax of the changelings. He went through a dramatic shift in his life, from Queen Chrysalis's reign, to his brother's radical change of the entire swarm. Although he had been reformed as well, he used to be known as someone who hates the new hive, and used to be one of the few remaining renegade changelings in Thorax's rule.

An interviewer by the name of Vision Grey would like to know more about this changeling...

After another defeat at the hooves of Celestia, Chrysalis comes across two dead dragons and a cracked egg. She takes the egg and hatches it believing it could be the weapon she needs against the ponies of Equestria. However, as the dragon grows, learning from his brothers Thorax and Pharynx and with the attack on Canterlot approaching, Spike will leave home to discover for himself whether he will follow his mother's orders or try peace as his brother argues for.

My name is Corporal Cephalon, Leader of the fifth division of the Changeling Royal Army. We’ve just invaded Canterlot, the capital of the most love dense kingdom we’ve ever encountered. General Pharynx has just given my squad and me an extremely important mission: go into the caves beneath Canterlot to cut off the escape of any civilians or royal guards fleeing from our siege.

There are many lands through the mirror; strange ones where all manner of things are possible, even one where the righteous are instead wicked and the only hope fell to the villainous. A world put out of sorts when the Good King Sombra absorbed the evil of the Two Sisters.

The Overlord, Thorax, has come to set the world back into its dark path, and only the recently turned Sisters stand in his way... but they'll need help. Light once came through that mirror. Surely light can be brought forth again, to quell this rising evil before it is too late.

Lately, King Thorax is feeling rather down. Although his friends are already dating or married, he feels left out. Hearing this, his brother, Pharynx with the help of Equestria's newest adviser, Spike, set out to find the King a mate. But there's a catch to this match-making, Pharynx has reason to believe that his brother is gay. So who exactly could they get Thorax to date and, more importantly, will it go well in this comedy of assumptions?

The changelings have shared their love and become more beautiful, more peaceful, more civilized. They have cast away the traditions of the past and accepted the traditions of ponies instead. What a joke. How dare they forget the proud history of changelings? How dare they cast away time-honoured traditions that we have revelled in for generations!

I am a proud Changeling warrior. A hunter. A spy. An infiltrator. Chrysalis had gone mad with power, but changelings are more than one Queen. There have been Queens before Chrysalis and there should have been Queens after her. I will not bend! I accept our treaties, but I will not disgrace my heritage. History, countries, societies, they are written in blood, why is ours so much more shameful? We had a mad Queen, so now our entire history is obviously disgraceful.

I will remain in the faction of changelings that have sprouted under Pharynx. We will be as strong as iron and silent as the shadows. This would never have happened under a proper Queen.

Sunburst didn't expect Pharynx would be so interested in the gift he'd brought for him. He, of course, knew the changeling was Genderfluid, but still, he didn't think Pharynx would be so eager to try it right away. But it does give him the chance to be philosophical with the usually snarky General.

There's a lot to unpack about just the color of the gift itself.
